I wish you the best but dont ever text me again." It really is crazy how you can go from loving someone unconditionally to never wanting to see their name pop up in your phone. (Btw I had already tried to tell her that she could still text me and she said to cut all ties completely.) If I could give any advice, dont stay, dont work things out again for the 60th time. Dont. Just block their #, block then on social media and keep it pushing. If y'all were meant to be, it'll all work out and yall will be. If y'all never end up speaking again, you know where y'all stand and you can take your L and keep it pushing. It is easier said than done, but you'll lose yourself trying to fix something that isn't meant to be and once you're deep into losing yourself, it's even harder than heartbreak. Focus on bettering yourself, so you attract better. Who knows, you could see them in the grocery store one day and maybe then yall will both be in a healthy state to try things again, but remember it is okay to walk away from things that aren't bettering you. Dont put up a filter and try to block out who someone really is. Notice the red flags and take control, you'll regret it if you don't.

It's almost been two years for me. I absolutely feel the first guy. But I gotta say, I kinda envy the terms they ended on. There are some people who you just can't get over. If the times were great, if you changed each other for the better, or in my case, they hit me where it hurts over and over again. My most recent ex girlfriend broke me hard, sent me a list of things she disliked about me, made me believe that the whole thing was my fault (and I still kinda believe it is), and her last words to me were "We can't be friends, and I hate you." It broke me, and pushed me to go into a massive reflection and reformation. I've been tackling everything bad about myself, and making myself a better man than I could have imagined myself being. I met my current closest friends, made connections with people who helped me excel in everything I do, and best of all, I'm feeling good again. I'm still not ready to date, I'm not healed, and I'm still afraid of getting close with someone in that way, but I'm definitely in a better place than I was. So, to my ex, if you read this, thanks for breaking my heart. It's the best thing, and the only good thing, you ever did to me.

Yes... I sometimes start overthinking things and get very anxious bc I just never really replied back. I saw no point to reply. I just hope I am not remembered in a bad way. This was really sad. You can see how technology doesn’t allow for us to see the person we’re speaking to and know the kind of impact we’re making. There’s a lot of unresolved pain here. If you work through your pain, you can come out of the other side understanding your ex, you don’t have to be with them, but you can speak to them and be a good ex, regardless of what happened. Just lots of inner work that everyone avoids.

I know a handful of people who have cheated and learned from their mistakes and have never wanted to feel that guilt and regret ever again, I know some who didn’t care.. I guess it varies but not all cheaters go back to their ways :3

Fleur Savez I love that idea and especially on how you put it together. Whereas if I “need” her but to answer your question I did want her back. For some time...then I realized just thinking about her brought me pain. So I did what I always do when it comes to those who have hurt me. I cut all ties. We need to remember our happiness matters as well. And stop trying to make everyone else happy because in reality that’s impossible. So no need to waste your time on things you simply can’t control. Do I miss her? Yes but I think it’s the idea of having that ‘special someone’. Someone you you can share your life with and have a meaningful relationship. How about you?
