It's been my experience that you use the fan tip in the nozzle and the pressure should be the same as you'd use to wash a car. You should be able to put your hand in the stream with no I'll effects. Works wonders on the rugs.

Great job, gorgeous carpet. People keep asking how a carpet could get that dirty and it seems to me it could easily get that way from a house on a beach that was flooded in a hurricane. Once the water goes away, what would remain is sludge, sand, mud, etc. Some people would clean rather than throw away depending on how much they paid for it initially or just to still hold on to something that belonged to their former home if it was destroyed. It's just a thought.

My favorite rug he has cleaned is this one with the design of feathers! Beautiful colors and feathers have a unique meaning from the Bible. Feathers mean protection. I would buy this one.
