Sorry, but this isn't gourmet vegan food, it's just normal food substitutes. The impossible burger is supposed to be something most people could eat. What you've shown us here is all things meant to substitute what we currently eat tit for tat rather than show that something amazing can be made full vegan without trying to be "normal". Vegan is normal, it's using fruits and veg and a bunch of stuff that everyone else uses.

IR B, this article is false information. Eating animals results in world-hunger and global-warming because the animals are fed most of the land in the factories and these animals are being fed to us; keeping word hunger alive and destoying the planet and the sentient beings on this planet. Also, Veganism and vegetarianism are different from each other. Profit is the main reason for this process.

No wonder there’s a global warming problem and that the amazons forests are being cut off right now even though we need the oxygen those forests provide and we need those forests’ ability to absorb co2 (since co2 is what’s causing global warming) ... and people wonder why some people are vegan for environmental purposes- this is why :oSo thank you again buzzfeed for the vegan video!!!

I'd love to go vegan, but it's expensive. Bareburger, regular burger is $8-$9. Impossible burger is $13-$14. Why is it more expensive if it supposedly uses less resources, using plants instead of animals? Can I get a cheap vegan fast food burger, like the McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's kind? Sometimes all I can afford to spend is $1-$3 on a meal, and/or I'm in a rush. by Chloe's, it's not really fast, the cheapest burger I can get is around $9. So thanks Buzzfeed for all the pro-vegan videos, but address the cost and accessibility issue, not the taste, which isn't an issue for a lot of people.

I think peoples opinions of what "cruelty free" actually means is kinda flawed. I shot a deer two weeks ago and it dropped instantly. bullet hit it's lungs, heart, and spine so it did not suffer or feel any pain. that deer is the definition of organic and free range. The meat will last me till next season which means I don't have to buy meat from the store which probably comes from factory farms.
@Amraston7 жыл бұрын
Andrew, thats fine, but 1) no option for 7,5 billion people and 2) not the kind of meat origin you would get in a restaurant.
@Irishrebel0927 жыл бұрын
yeah, for 7 billion people we're gonna have to just get over the fact that meat is a required part of the human diet. a full vegan diet is not sustainable for people who don't live in developed countries with a grocery store on each corner. as for the meat served in restaurants, you could idk, learn to cook your own food... my entire point was that "cruelty free" can mean different things to people. to me it just means the animal didn't suffer, while to others that means no animals were involved at all.

bc the vocal minority of vegans try to push their agenda on others, and now we hav ppl who eat meat and veggies attacking Vegans any chance they get now, u hav ur vocal minority to thank for, for all the hate yall are getting. If they kept their mouth shut OR show us wht its like to b Vegan instead of doing it the hard way, then we b hating and yelling at yall alot less....maybe even respect ur choices.

Granted, Crossroads is high-end vegan food, but it's nice to see people not hating on vegan food for a change. Things have gotten so much better and there are so many more options now in the last 5 years, people who have been on the fence should give veganism another chance.

Since when has a burger and fries been 'gourmet food'
@vidavisceral58477 жыл бұрын
User Name . It's about the quality of the ingredients and the thoughtfulness that goes into creating the recipe. Even the process of preparing a dish. So if the burger and fries you're referring to are from a place like McDonald's, for example, then you're right, that would not be gourmet.

Legally it isn’t murder... so that would be a social label you’re putting on someone, which isn’t a particularly big deal, as it doesn’t affect their life in anyway. Meat eaters are still able to get a job, they face no prison sentence and they do not have to pay any fines.

Interesting that they use the Impossible burger and Gardein products, not sure I'd want to pay 5-star prices for things I can purchase at the grocery store and make at home. If I'm splurging on a night at a fancy restaurant gi mme some handmade artisanal seitan chicken or whatever that beautiful egg yolk was! Great video though. :)
