Root beer originally called root tea. Named changed to beer so coal miners would drink it. Different brands different tastes. Woo didn’t like the pineapple flavored one too. Medicine smell for both.

@@williamthierry5976 Seriously depends on the brand. Everyone tastes different. I drink diet AW. Have never thought of it as medicine smell. To me not as sweet as Coke or Pepsi. Oh, most of us has had root beer floats growing up but it is usually root beer soda poured over ice cream. Not stirred in.🍨

Root beer is also known in Mexico as Cerveza de Raíz (Root Beer) although it isn’t very popular now it is still sold in certain naturist/ herbal tonic places, it’s usually lightly carbonated and has a sweet root medicine like taste.

Since I was a kid I love Root Beer and I certainly prefer it over Jarritos because here in Mexico there are better options of fruit carbonated flavored soft drinks, in fact all my family loves Root Beer over other soft drinks.

Guaraná diet? NO! I am fortunate enough to live in a place that sells all four sodas just blocks away from my house. Guaraná is by far my favorite but the diet is not that good. Jarritos would be my second fav with Piña being my fave.

On the 60's in São Paulo State, upstate we have Jarritos kind of sister called Mirinda (not MirAnda), many flavors. Orange was the best. At the time was usual Mirinda popsicles. E Viva Mexico, onde falamos Português e nos respondem em Espanhol com muita boa vontade e cordialidade.

I don't drink any other type of soda except guaraná ❤. There's even a indigenous legend behind the origin of the guaraná fruit, the tale is very interesting. Best soda to me forever , the non diet version is even better.

Jarritos looks like it'd have a citrus-flavor, kinda like candy. I immediately think of those japanese soft candies... Never tasted it, but definitely wanted to! Guaraná is amazing, whenever I see the drawing of the plant I remember the ancient legend around it and feel nostalgic of my childhood and learning about our folklore. The taste is sweet, refreshing, summery and overall great for an afternoon with your family. I wouldn't want the diet one though 😅 Milkis maybe tasting like yakult made it look more appealing to me hehe. But idk if I'd like it. And root beer... err 😬 it does look a bit like medicine 😅

I've never tried Milkis but I like Yakult so I think I will like it. I LOVE Jaritos, it's my second favorite after Guarana (never had the diet version tho). I am not the best fan of root beer because I think they are too creamy and not refreshing but I still like it when I go to street fairs during the fall/winter

The most common complaint you hear about root beer is that it tastes medicinal. I don't see it, but I get it. It's been my favorite soft drink since I was a kid. That said, it's best as a float. Nothing beats that. Never had Guarana or the Milkis, but Jarritos is also my jam. However, I woulda gone with Tamarindo. In closing, never EVER bring a "diet" drink to the party. 😂😂😂

Mandarin Jarritos is the best. The only one i haven't tried was the guarana drink, but i imagine it would be a contender if it wasn't the diet version. Diet sodas tend to use that fake sugar that tastes like medicine to me.

Ele disse que o Inka Cola tem sabor parecido, porém parece uma versão radioativa do nosso Guaraná Jesus, uma vez que o Inka Cola tem uma cor entre aquela primeira urina da manhã ou um energético e esse refri de limão esverdeado que a mexicana mostrou. A cor do. INKA COLA não é nada convidativa, parece que leva césio na composição.😂😂😂😂 Mas o rosinha do nosso Guaraná Jesus é muito charmoso, na minha opinião. Mas que tem gosto de chiclete com um fundinho de canela, tem mesmo.

Ao ver a ideia do americano lembrei que no Brasil existe uma bebida muito gostosa chamada Vaca-Preta, é a mistura de coca-cola com sorvete, mas não se deve fazer com sorvete de flocos de chocolate pq desanda o intestino kkkkk

Pensei imediatamente na Vaca Preta! Acho inclusive que a nossa versão veio dos EUA, porque parece que em alguns lugares do Brasil tb chamamos de "flutuante", como foi descrito com o AW :)

@@drfabriciomnogueira O sorvete não faz diferença, e não é troll. Já experimentei todo tipo de vaca preta possível desde criança e há +20 anos nunca me deu algum revertério no estomago. Quando digo "TODO TIPO" é porque além de Coca-Cola, vulgo melhor refrigerante do mundo, já misturei sorvete com Fanta Laranja/Uva, Sprite, Guaraná, é legal demais todas as combinações de gostos possíveis. Fica uma delícia.

Guaraná sempre será o melhor. E sorvete com refrigerante é muito bom, eu amo. Fiquei admirada quando, há um tempo, descobri que o resto do Brasil não conhece essa maravilha (pelo menos com as pessoas que eu conversei)! Experimentem, é bom!

É muito tradicional aqui no Rio Grande do Sul a "Vaca-Preta", e o legal é que serve com qualquer refrigerante e sorvete, as misturas são infinitas.

Garana fruit is considered a very strong stimulant. Can only be used as a flavor in US. I will try Milkis. Believe it’s sold here
