Here are some basic facts and names: two German bands: Int the first room we have AnnenMayKantereit (AMK) from Cologne, Germany, with singer Henning May (the guy in the brown t-shirt and the deep voice), Christopher Annen (guitar), Severin Kantereit (percussion) - that's where the strange name of the band comes from, it's just the surnames of the three founding members: Annen, May and Kantereit -, Malte Huck (bass) and Ferdinand Schwarz (trumpet); in the second room we have Giant Rooks from Hamm, Germany, with Frederic Rabe (the singer with the longish hair and the somewhat higher voice), Finn Schwieters (guitar), Finn Thomas (drums), Jonathan Wischniowski (e-piano) and Luca Göttner (the Elvis lookalike on bass). Later Giant Rooks are joined by the AMK people, who come into the room without their instruments - except for Ferdinand, who takes his trumpet with him. The two bands toured together in early 2019, and the video was made during that tour by Lenny Rothenberg and Marius Möller. Henning May was 27, when the video was made, but rather looks like 17 in it. 2011, after graduating from high school, AnnenMayKantereit began as buskers, playing in the streets of their home town Cologne. This a-cappella song was written by Suzanne Vega in 1981 and released on her album "Solitude Standing" in 1987.

The band in the first room is AnnenMayKantereit. Henning May in the brown shirt with the deep voice is part of this band (Christian Annen and Severin Kantereit are his bandmates - therefore the name. And they do have other musicians who join them as well, like the trumpet and bass here) Can't go wrong with anything they did! They have some awesome english covers up on their channel! If you're up for it I also recommend listening to some of their original songs in german (preferably with a good translation of the lyrics to go along with it, so you can appreciate the song fully :). The second band is Giant Rooks, and Fred Rabe is their singer. (They do get lost a little bit in direct comparison to Henning but are genuinely really good, too, and worth a listen! The original song is by Suzanne Vega from the early 1980s. You may know another great song by her - Luka. Anyway, AMK have dozens of really good songs as well - some English covers, some German originals.

Annenmaykantereit has a good english coversongs, like "toxic" (original from Britney Spears). But for me there own songs in german are more better.

Oh, it looks like Annnenmaykanteriet is the name of the band, of which the lead singer is Henning May. I think he is the guy with the lighter voice and that Giant Rooks is the guy with the deeper, kind of raspy voice. This was very good, just an easy paced, feel good song.
