Some women lie and say their baby is less than 40 weeks old in the womb because there are multiple stories of pregnant women who are close to going into labor (meaning they could give birth in like a week or so) getting cut open and having their babies stolen right from their womb (an instance is a woman i think 40 weeks pregnant had her stomach cut open in the middle of a target and got her baby stolen by a crazy lady)

She hasn't told them to back off yet so the other actions are boundary pushing but OP didn't state is was a boundary so they have plausible deniability. BUT The minute BIL put hands on her, without asking, let alone in public while referring to the kid as his, that was clearly a point where he was in the wrong. Putting hands on someone is a universal boundry that everyone knows about, so they clearly were stepping all over it. In the story, OP mentioned that she had her brother take her to their (sister's and BIL's) house so she could get her clothes and other stuff. She said that she did this after BIL touched her. Based on that, I'm guessing she went to her brother's place or her parent's place or the house of another family member/relative/friend. The only friends she should keep are the ones who said she isn't in the wrong. I think that the sister and BIL trying to get custody of the baby is a possibility. first story: yeah it's really hard to choose who is right here. One is a pregnant (hormones) teenager (hormones) who has been pressured if not blackmailed into letting her BIL have a part in her baby's life. The other one is a creepy man who uses his house as leverage to control his wife's sister who's almost half his age. Yeah I suppose it's her fault after all. I mean... correcting him when he implied being the child's father... how dare she. second story: the situation could have been handled a lot better. The girl was being stubborn, she needs to learn that in some occasions and places you dress a certain way. It's called class, it's taught and she will probably accept it when she is a bit older. That said the wife's behaviour was obscene: even if someone doesn't follow your dress code you show off your wealth mainly through your education and grace. She should have asked nicely to dress appropriately but then should have just accepted the fact that she's a teenager. It's called class, it's taught and she will probably never learn it. Third story. As an Italian myself I can confirm that the woman has ulterior motives. I have lots of male friends and with my best friend I would probably have no problems using his home as if it was my own. The problem is her husband not knowing anything: if it was something innocent she would have told him. Also if it was something innocent no one would be gossiping (no one gossips about me and my best friend. They stopped doing that half way through high school when it became clear there would never be anything between us)

In 2nd story I think they all need to have a proper talk. It's extremely good doing charity and I support the girl in this case. But giving everything you've is not a great idea. It was her mom's birthday and many people were going to be there. So she should have at least agreed to wear nice clothes. Don't get me wrong, people are judgemental so when they see the daughter not wearing something nice but her parents wearing something expensive they will think the parents don't treat the daughter well. But also the mother be more understanding about it.

Yea, not enough information was given to make a decision on it. Like, what was the dress code of the restaurant vs what Sandy was wanting to wear? How was the conversation that the mom and Sandy had? There could have been multiple attempts to get Sandy to dress the dress code of the restaurant before an ultimatum was given. Also, it was her mother's birthday. Surely, Sandy could have put aside her preferences for one night and worn something that would have made her mother happy on her mother's birthday.

10:02 if we were friends, and you stopped coming because of my wife, I'd go to you, because I don't want her to ruin our friendship. Point is, if you don't feel comfortable enough as my friend to come over until *she* invites you, then she is not the wife for me.

With the 2nd story, the mother could've just been kind and ask for her to wear something nice at an event, or just let her be.

1st Story: OP shouldn't have moved in with her sister and BIL (brother in - law) when they asked her to because they wanted to experience "being pregnant." OP should only allow the sister and BIL to be around the baby if she herself and/or multiple trusted family members can keep watch/supervise. Or she shouldn't allow them to be around the baby at all. I think that the sister and BIL would try to mentally and/or emotionally manipulate the baby or try to convince OP to give the baby up to them for adoption. Another thing I think the sister and BIL could try to do is steal the baby. Another thing the sister and BIL could try to do is get custody of/become guardians of the baby. OP needs to cut out/cut off the friends who say that she is in the wrong. Those people aren't her friends. She should keep the friends who said that she isn't in the wrong. OP mentions that she got her clothes and other stuff from the house, so I'm guessing that means she moved out. 2nd Story: The mom saying that the daughter dressing in thrift shop clothes was/is giving the impression that they're poor and paints a picture that they are negelctful parents is a lie. The mom cares more about images/appearances than she cares about Sandy (the daughter). The dad did the right thing when he stood up for Sandy, cancelled the event, and had everyone go home early. 3rd Story: I disagree with Kyutie's opinion/decision. The wife of the husband's friend shouldn't have kept visiting OP's husband unannounced. It didn't seem to bother OP's husband much. He just told her (his friend's wife) to arrange something because he doesn't like to be disturbed while working. OP shouldn't have contacted her husband's friend and asked him to tell his wife to stop. The wife of the husband's friend is her own person and can make her own decisions. She doesn't always have to tell her husband where she is going. People of the opposite sex/gender can be friends (close or not close) without being romantically involved. A person shouldn't stop having friends of the opposite sex/gender just because they (the person) have a significant other/partner. "Respect for/to the wife" doesn't mean that someone of the opposite sex/gender can/should only visit if the wife invites them over.

I think the point with the third story is that the Op Wife mentioned that she was uncomfortable with her showing up unannounced to their home specifically when she isn't in the country, usually when no one's even home. The husband didn't say anything on the issue. The Op Wife was just suggesting that she at least calls ahead of time so someone's actually there. The Husband's Friend's Wife knew it was making her uncomfortable and didn't care and continued to push that boundary. There wasn't any implication that the Op Wife thought the Husband's Friend's Wife needed permission from her husband to go places. She was trying to talk to another friend who she thought knew about it, since her husband clearly wasn't going to do anything about it even if it bothered her, so someone else could try and convince that she was making The Op's Wife uncomfortable and that she shouldn't be intentionally doing that. Respect the boundary that someone sets on their own home. It's basic curtesy. No, a husband doesn't need to know where his wife is. And yes, men and woman can have platonic relationships. However, going over to a man's house, only when his wife is out of the country basically every single day and not once informing your spouse that you were doing so even though you are a part of the same friend group doesn't paint a pretty picture. Especially when you try and make yourself out to be the victim and everyone else as unreasonable when people attempted to talk to you beforehand about how it made them uncomfortable. The perspective of the story wouldn't change if they were all women or if they were all men or if the gender roles were swapped. It wouldn't matter because it paints the same picture. Especially since the Op's Wife didn't even learn what was going on from her husband. And considering they are all from the same friend group, there is absolutely no reason to keep those visits a secret from their respective spouse's unless they were hiding something or there was something else going on. Also, look at it from this perspective. If the Op's Husband's Friend's Wife constantly did this every single day, I think anyone would grow curious as to where their spouse was going. Not that said spouse would need permission to go anywhere or they have to tell their spouse where they are going every single time that they went out, but if my significant other went out every single day consistently, I would be curious as to where they went. And I would ask them simply out of curiosity. And if the Op's Husband's Friend didn't know about these met ups between his wife and his friend, she may have been potentially lying about where she was going since he knew absolutely nothing about it. Not to say this is certain since it was never confirmed, but it's another thing to keep in mind. It has nothing to do with a man's permission and platonic friendships, no matter how you look at it it's suspicious. Anyone would think so, no matter the gender role anyone played in this scenario.

Sandy story feels like there is more going on, like Sandy is almost ashamed to be wealthy and wants to wear those things because it makes her feel better about herself. It might be good to sit her down and explain all the good things you can do for others with your resources. Otherwise, I foresee her being taken advantage of and being hurt in the future, when people use her kind heart against her or insinuate that she is deceptive for hiding her worth. People are cruel.

1st story- Honestly I see the brother in law acting pretty weird, the story doesn’t say that the sister was trying to say the baby was her’s or anything. The brother in law really did act creepy tho I’m surprised the sister was ok with this because the way the person wrote the story made it seem as if the brother in law actually liked her and it’s just weird. Hearing someone who isn’t romantically involved with the person going up to them and touching their belly and saying “Hi, it’s me your daddy”, like what? Your making people think your cheating on your wife with her and got her pregnant like bro. Some people are so stupid. If you want a kid then adopt Jesus.

First story: she was right to get out of there. Brother in law and sister are out of line. Sounds like they might try to take custody of the baby. Second story: Sandy is a much more caring and charitable person than her mother, who sounds as fake as they come. Do not apologize. Third story: The other wife shouldn’t be dropping over uninvited on a near daily basis. It might be innocent or it might not.

Story 1: I have a feeling that BIL and sis may have told people that they were adopting the baby. Or at least they would have tried to talk the mom into it.
@alimitlessside29012 жыл бұрын
i just wanted to talk about this: When i was younger i was talking to my oldest brother about something in a game? well my older brother by i think 2 years came in (lets call him Bill) Well bill said "You are a crybaby!" This embarrassed me and my oldest brother laughed. i went out the room a few minutes after and grew self conscious. I sometimes had sucidal thoughts like "Im a burden and i should attempt to kill myself with one of the kitchen knifes!" or "No one will know how i feel. Im just a cry baby and no one would care if i died." Some one at my school influenced this well not exactly a bully but she always looked at me with a bad look making me feel hated. one time i told her to stop but she didnt listen saying "Whats wrong with me looking" rolling her eyes. the next day i said again "If i die today it will be your fault" and left. Well she also didnt listen. This may not sound bad but it made me think more of "No one would care if i died. They would be fine / happy if i died" luckily i held back. i dont know why but i never sucided..maybe its because of my family, maybe i knew it was wrong but i held back. This is one story but i always felt like this when i was: Stressed, sad, mad, ect which is the reason i dont think its depression since its not constant. it probably was just like everyone but.. this is just one story of it... Edit: The girl at school also made me feel nervous.

Last Story: The Housekeeper ratted her out to the wife because even she can see how inappropriate the friends wife is acting. If that's just her personality then why doesn't she do it when the guy's wife is in town and only when she's gone and can't enforce boundaries. Also the husband has probably become desensitized because this woman has probably been doing this behavior for years. Also the suspicious friends wife is only mad at getting called out because she knows her husband doesn't know her whereabouts and what she gets up to and he and anyone else can see she's acting like a snake in the grass. If she thought her behavior was normal and perfectly pleasant she wouldn't care who knew. People only hide things when they're inconvenient or wrong.

Story 1: OP is not in the wrong, they way they are talking is as if they are going to kidnap your child. While I understand that cannot have any, they have no rights to literally pretend to be your child's "daddy." That's so awkward, the way they are talking is as if they will show up at your child's school pretending they are "daddy and mommy." As they take your child for themselves. While it might not be common there are films based on true stories of ladies kidnapping children because they couldn't have one themselves. Protect that child and leave. They may be family but they are pushing boundaries that shouldn't be pushed. Not to mention OP is 19 years old and the brother-in-law is 37 saying he's the father of the child in front of everyone! People are going to think horrible things about how she got pregnant in the 1st place if he keeps screaming that he's the dad to everyone who will listen. Story 2: OP is the best father ever, sticking up for his daughter like that. He laid out the consequences of the wife's actions and followed through with them. He is in the right completely and if the wife wants to be an elitist, then she can go do that elsewhere but not with your child. The daughter could be getting made fun of at school because people could think that her dressing fancy means she thinks she's better than her classmates. Or heaven forbid she just likes the style of the clothes. The wife is a dingbat who's trying to shove her ideals down everyone else's throats. The daughter wants to dress a certain way and their are worse things in the world than that. The wife should be happy that she doesn't have a child into drugs, alcohol, partying, and getting pregnant every 9 months to taint the wife's precious image. She needs to get over herself and see a therapist to hopefully fix her elitist attitude. The husband should just stop messaging the wife altogether and focus on helping the daughter feel better after everything the wife has been putting her through. The wife can sit and think about what she's done separately. It's like how you are supposed to let tantrum-throwing children sit in the corner without acknowledging them. And they can get back to you when they finally figure out why they were wrong and when they want to authentically apologize. Either she'll realize or she'll continue being elitist, so just repair your daughter's love and trust while you wait. Story 3: OP was in the right and thank you to the housekeeper bringing it to her attention. I'm glad the husband wasn't acknowledging the wife coming over because he was working and not cheating so that was good. But the friend's wife is so delusional about something, I feel bad for her husband's friend who didn't know this was happening.
