The first case really had her in full judge mode, trying to get straight answers out of people. Having to stop them from constantly talking over each other, flipping through documents that people didn’t have or didn’t understand and having to do all that calculating in the end.

I was thinking the same thing. I mean, if it was cooking oil she may be thinking it's biodegradable and will become fertilizer, but she needs to take into account that it will coat the grass and smother it. And if we are talking about motor oil or some other oil, it is toxic to the environment.

I get both the plaintiff and defendants frustration on the first case. I definitely think that the plaintiff might have splashed oil on the driveway. But regardless, wear and tear also happens to driveways I would assume once every other year she would have the blacktop repaired… so I also see why milian didn’t give her anything for that.

I feel sorry for the young lady in the second case. Having a mentally ill parent is incredibly difficult. The landlady shouldn't have taken out her anger on the young couple when she was upset with the mom!

There is a little discussed issue about violence in a certain community. It is off the charts. But they do not want people to know just why they were once considered "special" by the psychiatrists. Trying to work around the algorithm is exhausting sometimes.

Milian's behavior in the second case was reprehensible. She wants to be respected as a sitting judge on television but to me the majority of the time never showed respect to the litigants that came on her show, particularly when it came to black folks.
