The People's Court

The plaintiff claims she stored valuable items in the basement of her friend’s house, and then the defendant decided to throw them out. She is suing for part of her belongings’ value. The defendant claims she promised to hold onto five or six boxes for the plaintiff, but she ended up leaving more than 20 boxes. After six months of keeping the abandoned boxes in her house, she threw them out, and thus she doesn’t owe money. The defendant is countersuing for storage, lost wages, and defamation of character.

I DON'T trust one single soul to preserve and cherish my family's precious heirlooms and original documents. NOT EVEN MY (EX)husband!! We cherish what we VALUE! I feel like the lady showed also how little she cared about the stuff and her kids… there’s no way I would of left those items out of my possession! There’s no way I would of made room for other things and not those things

The lady in the first l took advantage of her friendship by abandoning her items at her friends place. thinking well she'll never throw it out, I have nowhere to put it so I'll just keep back dating when I pick it up". This happened to another friend of mine and finally the friend had had it , of speak, and said you either pick it up on Saturday or it's going to the trash. She CLEARLY took advantage of her and then she's saying she still angry with her because her children's things got thrown out and she "trusted her ". But she abused that trust and now she has no shame.

You do a good deed and then you become the enemy when you ask them to do as they promised. Some people just don't get it they want everyone to do what they want without any consequences. She destroyed the friendsip but play the victim. it is always someon elses fault.

I love how they just belittle people once more by making them talk to the guy in the lobby who tells them they lost their case, after hearing the judge say the exact same thing to them 10 seconds earlier. Lol It's like trying to make it through the gauntlet of shame just to get out of the courthouse.

What happens when two Karen’s sue one another? Judge Milian verbally destroys them both. That was beautiful.

Since she was downsizing, she really should have just taken the time to evaluate what she needed to keep and needed to let go. She could have snapped pics of some of those so called "sentimental" items and made herself a photo book. That would have gotten rid of the clutter and freed up tons of space. She was without it all for a year...in my book, ALL of it should have been dealt with BEFORE the move.
