The plaintiff was definitely lying, I know many women who wear wigs, extensions etc, and never went home that same day after paying a lot of money, and washed their hair. The women was displeased with the finished product and purposely messed up her own hair. Than tried to get a big pay day.

Even if I get a haircut and style I don’t typically wash my hair that day, often not for a good 48-72 hours because I want to preserve the professional styling as long as possible. That’s especially true if I’ve had it colored or otherwise altered because I want the products to thoroughly embed into the hair shaft for maximum effect, and also to give the hair time to recover from the chemical treatments.

Did you hear what the plaintiff said? She said the hair was HARD so she had to wet it. She didn’t even wet the top part or put shampoo or anything. She just wet the bottom because the hair was so hard she couldn’t brush through it. After finding out defendant never even purchased the hair from that company she said she did, and also saying she put the “Brazilian hair” in another packaging , her credibility went downhill from there. So I believe she did a bad job all around.

I believe the judgement was fair. If she would have came to my house with a plastic outre bag and a roll of hair tape I would have thought the same thing that the hair is cheap.. but she got what she paid for. Tape extension cost way more then $175. Also extensions comes in silk dust bags and she should have bought medical proof of her headaches.. but overall this was an interesting case 🥰

JM really picks and chooses who she wants to give Defamation of character. I just seen another case where she ruled a person could receive it because that person had other people go leave reviews and that was wrong, so what’s the difference here? It makes sense the reviews were a day later because on the same day they made plans to have her hair fixed and then she decided the next day to go to another stylist to remove her hair and was upset she didn’t get her money back. I’m noticing this a lot with JM, especially when it comes to certain type of defendants and plaintiffs. The plaintiff blatantly lied. Who gets their hair done and then immediately washes it after?

Guaranteed the plaintiff brushed her extensions without holding the base like she was brushing her own head and pulled them out. Why are you wetting and brushing taped in extensions 20 min after they've been put in?? What sense does that make. She tried it.

I had a customer do the same thing to me... gave bad review and then had friends and relatives give me a bad review when they weren't even my customers! It sucks that people can do that and the only way to counter it is to reply to the review with your own side of the story, and then ask satisfied customers if they would mind giving you a good review!

It’s weird that she said tape ins last 2-3 weeks. I’ve gotten them done like 6-8 times and it’s always around 4-6 weeks and you can wash your hair like normal just with a sulphate free shampoo. You shouldn’t wash in the first 24 hours though but they shouldn’t be falling out.
@mademoiselleelayne33052 жыл бұрын
My thoughts! I get them often and they last a good month for me. And yes, sulfate free is the way to go.
@MG-im5hm2 жыл бұрын
Defendant probably said 2-3 weeks to cover herself with clients. Some might last 4 weeks, other 7 weeks, others maybe 3 weeks, depends on how they treat their hair. She was probably erring on the side of caution to avoid people asking for refunds or to be fixed if it doesn't last longer than 4-5 weeks.

She should be able to sue the plaintiff for the negative review b/c she didn’t let her fix it as agreed the next day. And by law, you have to give the person/company a chance to fix the issue before you can sue or go elsewhere to correct the issue. And I do think she didn’t like the tape & took it out herself & that nothing fell out.
