Very helpful. Thanks for sharing and contributing to the somewhat limited Twingo's data base of maintenance experiences, tricks, how to's. 👍

Hi mate, looking at possibly getting a 2010 Twingo RS 133 with about 110k miles. Would that be a stupid idea? If you don't mind me asking how reliable was yours in your experience? Cheers.

I've had Twingos from new to old age. I still have my RS 133 late 2009 with 103k miles on clock. Like any older car I have to do repairs. Pretty reliable though. Make sure timing belts are done every 5 years or 60k. Alternator bearings can make noises. Make sure gearbox oil is replaced every 2 or 3 years. Rear brake lines can get a little corroded. All cars regardless suffer from issues as they get older. Twingos seem to do better than most. Remove the plastic wheel arc liners and clean out all the mud. This is especially important around the fuel filler cap area.
