Pepper spray is WAAAY worse than getting tased. Getting tased can be excruciatingly painful but once it's over it's 95% over other than a couple of small needle barbs. Pepper spray is painful for up around 90 minutes. Usually extremely painfor for about fifteen minutes.

It’s not uncommon…seeing an orthopedic specialist costs $$ and being in cast/splint gets in the way of certain types of work. When I worked at a casino once, they used water (instead of milk) when washing the OC off of our faces (and given it was the first time I had been OC'd, I didn't know any better) it wasn't until I came to my current company and got OC'd as part of the training that I realized that you use milk and not water.

I was in the Navy, and we had the training with pepper spray. I got sprayed on my face before, too. Speaking from my own experience. The burn could actually last for hours up to 48 hrs or 2 days especially if you wet or wash your face again, the burn comes back. I guess it just depends on the strength of the unit or brand that you use, they vary in strength or the amount of the pepper that is in the unit.

Cops are trained to do that. In my academy we were sprayed and then had to apprehend a “suspect” while dealing with it. Subsequently , when I was on duty I was arresting a suspect that tried to fight after I got the cuffs on one of his wrists. Since he was bigger the me and was likely going to be able to escape I made a rookie move and cuffed him to my own arm to prevent his escape. He couldn’t get my firearm due to the retention holster and put positioning. But he could get to my pepper spray. So we ended up in a pepper spray fight while cuffed together. He couldn’t handle the spray and whined and cried and gave up. Despite being sprayed directly in the eyes I was able to get him cuffed and transport him while sucking it up. Then, of course, I whined when I finally had him in custody and was alone in the station bathroom trying to wash out and neutralize the spray.

Here is a question for after they had the A_ hole in cuffs and in the back of a patrol car. If the video was all in order, it seems to be as they talked about the milk.
