The Peppermint Rainbows hit songs were very big in the spring of 1969, their songs were great and I was a Freshman living in Elwood, New Jersey, attended Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing, New Jersey. It was my final months of living in New Jersey. June 21,1969 I had moved to Newark,Delaware. The late 1960’s music and the music of the 1970’s was great.

This great group's demise had nothing to do with disco. The Peppermint Rainbow broke up in 1970. 1975 and 1977 were the years disco's popularity took off and took off moreso. Sunshine pop like this, and disco, are two of my favorite types of music.
