Got one the same color also three years ago, being retired I'm fishing out of it a hundred or more time (live in FL) a year. The back rest bracket just broke so I will be replacing the seat soon, on a side note I won a $49,000 GMC pick-up fishing out of it last June.

Did yours come with a small bungee w/hooks to make the seat auto fold? Mine broke and had no bungee for the paddle holder. Also, anyone know what the square recesses are for at the back of the seat mold?

Yes, the seat bungee with plastic hooks came on the kayak. Mainly to hold the seat in a closed position while traveling to and from the lake. All of the orange bungees in my video came on the boat, including the paddle bungee. If yours is missing, I suspect it was left off at some point during assembly - maybe at the store? You are probably better off adding a paddle clip to the side of the kayak anyway. As for the square seat molds - I've looked at that and all I can figure is that it is made that way to give stability for where the seat mold meets the kayak floor.

Where is the best place to buy the metal loops to attach gear so they don't fall off into the water? You showed a black metal loop with 2 screws that you attached with a clip at 9:45

I got a 10 pack on Amazon. Search for kayak eyelet or eye kit. Some come with the mounting hardware included. My pack didn’t, so I picked up stainless steel nuts and bolts at a hardware store. Also - the ones I got are hard plastic/nylon - not metal.

What are the two holes in the front for ? Can it be used for rod holders to

I think you are talking about the RAM mount points. They are threaded holes for a RAM adapter (it is basically a way to attach various things to your kayak). I use mine for a go-pro mount. They do make rod holders and cup holders that are RAM mount attachable. You can see my RAM mount ball that is screwed into the hole at kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXqZXp2Hebale9E as well as the unused hole. I don't have my go pro attached unfortunately for you to get the full effect.

Trent White thank you I may get the same kayak I have the perception 9.5 swiftly an I want a little bigger one with more open room an I want to use those to spots for my rod holders I want to get the perception 10.6 hook angler

Kayak is still good. I bought it in July 2017 and have had it on the water 3 seasons. I've had it in the water maybe 25-30 times (about 7-10 trips a season). Shop around for best price. I was able to get one chain to price match another major retail outlet. Some stores also have "boat" sales just before peak season.
