did you secure the battery behind the seat?

Yes! Most batteries fit perfect under the seat, but a little bit of thru hull wiring gets it up to the front we’ll which helps balance the boat out more. Having ~40lbs on the rear does have it sit a little awkward so a 30-40lbs battery in the front well really helps!
