they actually do explain in the books why mortals don't see this stuff the gods are doing, it's called the mist, and it messes with mortals vision so they see ordinary stuff the ones that can see through it are demigods, the movie makes no attempt at explaining this so it turns into a giant plothole the size of posiedon in that opening scene

I absolutely depised the way they portrayed Persephone, maybe it's because I imagined her differently. I like what she does to help them but not the way she's played. All in all an "okay" movie. Not good but solely terrible.

I watched the movie and thought to my self, it's like Hercules.But you have 3 kids instead of one, two that are decendants of gods and one that is a sidekick to both kids.Seeing hades made me like the hades better on Hercules, Hades in Percy Jackson is like a watching a native kid turn into a wolf at will.
