Just played this pedal at Sam Ash. This is what I've been missing all these years of playing cam pedals. I'm an older drummer who learned on non cam pedals so I am getting one of these right away. I've been blaming my neurological nerve damage on why I'm having trouble playing doubles on the kick when it was the damned cam pedals all the time. Thank you Jojo and Sonor.

It`s a new consept and a new system so it`s handy to have this detaild description ;) and the pedal i awsome ;) I`ve used it for one weak now (live, studio and home) an it holds up great, and no problems at all ;) Recomended ;)

It's a nice Sonor pedal. But still has issues. I found the hinge very noisy. I had to put some 3 & 1 oil to quite it down. Also the main post has waggle to it. It totally doesn't lock in place. The cheap foam in the spring I replaced with felt. I had to oil the metal to metal contact points of the spring as well. Sonor could have done better for the cost of this pedal.

I have an 18 inch basedrum with an elevator clamp on it, will the pedal still work?

I bought one of these a while back and I cannot get it to fit the hoop properly. No matter what I do, when attached the heel of the pedal sticks up off the ground which causes the bass drum to rock back and forward and the toms move even further, annoying ! The kit is an vintage rogers kit, thinner hoops, but I have built it up with tape / rubber with no change. Any suggestions ?

Let me tell y'all something that you didn't notice. The adjustments on the top of the tension spring is more towards the right of the middle. In the introduction video for this pedal it has the thing resting on the left side. (More towards the drum)

I hope the strap doesn' flap around and lose contact with the pedal. I hated that on my DW 8000. That issue occurred on the secondary pedal so I would think it shouldn't happen on the Jojo model but I am a little worried about a strap. Most pedals don't use that feature. Hopefully Jojo knows what he is doing.

i cannot have the base plate is perfectly flush with the floor,, the rear end is always higher.. any suggestion?

Don't overtighten the 1/4 turn screw at the front. I have the same issue...it depends on the floor too!

I've owned two of these... While the mechanics of playing are amazing, the mounting mechanism sometimes fails, even if you follow all the instructions in this video... that's why around 25% of Amazon reviewers gave it 1 or 2 stars... wish Sonor would get back to us all about that openly... Can't imagine how they could make it up, but they should at least try... A product this expensive should not fail like that...

"Hopefully Jojo knows what he is doing"? The man has been frankensteining pedals for years before he came up with this design. It is very clear he knows what he's doing also the strap isn't your normal strap....it's made from a material stronger than kevlar.

If you need a tutorial on how to put on a pedal to the bass drum it must be a fucked up pedal. Just a shot in the dark don't really like Sonor hardware or drums cool looking design tho
