Hello, everyone.
Today I made delicious sugar cookies
It's the best for cut-out cookies and for icing as well.
I tested several recipes to make this video,
comparing the texture and taste.
And finally chose this recipe that tasted the most to my taste and was easiest for handling the dough.
If you haven't found a butter cookie recipe that you like yet, give it a try!
▶Ingredients (about 70 small cookies (thickness 3mm))
100g unsalted butter
65g sugar
30 g eggs
180g AP Flour
3g baking powder
2g vanilla extract
2 g salt
1) Lightly beat the butter at room temperature.
2) Add sugar and salt and mix lightly with a hand mixer until the color is slightly lightened.
3) Add room temperature eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well mixed.
4) Sift the flour and fold it until it forms a lump.
5) Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper, or Teflon sheets and roll it out to a thickness of 3mm to 4mm.
* For just eating - 3mm/ For icing cookies -4mm
6) Chill in the freezer until hardened.
7) Cut out the dough with a cookie cutter of the desired shape.
8) Bake for 10 minutes at 170 degrees Celcius(338 Fahrenheit) on the top heat / 160 degrees Celcius(320 Fahrenheit) on the bottom.
* Unox/Smeg/Sierra, etc. Convection oven: 160 degrees Celcius(320 Fahrenheit) for 10 minutes.
*Storage: About 5 days when stored in an airtight container with a desiccant at room temperature. It can be stored for about 1 month if stored in the freezer. The dough can be stored in the freezer for 2-3 months.
