In this video I'm going to show you how to make perfect BBQ chicken on the grill. I'm not talking about slow smoked chicken. I'm talking about the perfect summertime meal, grilled to perfection, sweet and saucy, BBQed chicken.
The secret is to have two zones, hot and cooler on your grill. You want to start out on the cooler side, preferably in the 300 to 350 range, and essentially bake the chicken without any direct flame. Once the chicken gets to be around 155 degrees, then you can put it over the flame for a bit to crisp up the skin and get that little bit of char. Remember to let the chicken rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
