Baste and Wrap the chicken in 2 pieces of foil to capture the juices and stop the mess, put airfryer on 200c 20 mins, half way through turn over and open the top of foil to reveal the chicken and put back in for the remaining 10 mins. Save yourself the hassle of having to keep putting it back in! Quick easy and cheaper than the oven.

Is this to also prevent the heating element in the top of the air fryer, from cooking the outside of the chicken too quickly, to avoid a result of a rigid outer skin with a squishy watery centre? I notice this element is very close to the food in an air fryer, but usually much further away or hidden behind the oven wall in a real oven. I've not done any chicken breasts in the model my sister has lent me. I was going to set it to a lower temperature like in a real oven and cook for longer, e.g. 160°C (normally 180°C in a real oven) and say 27-30mins or more if doing more than one breast.

I so enjoy your videos thank you for sharing. One question please. I have an air fryer oven and am not sure if I need to change the temperature when using a recipe for a drawer type air fryer
@BackyardChef9 ай бұрын
This is a drawer type. Not really understanding this one. Best, Rik

Ok I read it a couple of times - I have an air fryer oven - not a drawer type - I would cook chicken 180 for 20 mins in that. Best, Rik

Hey looks great. A few questions ok? Do you only use an air fryer? Great way to save on electricity but do you have an oven? Also are you in the UK or some place else. I don't find you boring at all. Love your channel!!!!

Hey M. K. NO i dont only use an air fryer. These few videos were to show you can cook with a minimum amount of appliances in a small space kitchen. It was to help those going to UNI. I have lived in Thailand for 17 years.. But i am on the move shortly. Best, Rik
