Hardest level for me. Start is hard without weapon and when you got weapon it have so little ammo. Also enemies attacks are brutal and they are very quick and hard to hit. I come to the bridge without ammo and full red health bar, but Elvis alone kill all 4 enemies when you defend bridge, I was so lucky.

Yeah Attack Ship on real N64 is rough, specially due to the framerate. Disabling auto-aim helps to hit headshots on the Skedars.

1:46 I'm really struggling with this one, usually at the last bend I'm already being shot at, sometimes I can get closer to the first skedar before he starts shooting me, but I'm never able to just get behind him unnoticed to land a back stab. I'm not sure if it's the control style (I'm used to 1.1) or if I'm doing something else wrong.

1.1 is slower than 1.2 but you should still be able to strafe fast enough (forward on the stick and left/right on C-Buttons). If you can't there reliably, you can always throw the knife at him after opening the door while he's looking away and let the poison finish him off, then pick the Mauler and destroy the shields & kill the other one.

1.2 definitely is worth it, if you can get through the initial pain of learning new controls.

​@@Graslu00 Today I decided to try the "turbo" N64 core on the MiSTer with a 28% higher clock speed over the original N64 and damn... doesn't look like much, but that higher framerate makes it so much smoother to tackle this level. That made me curious to try the XBLA or the PC "port" now. 😁

@@Graslu00 I’ve been stuck on this particular level for a few days on pa. I used a mix of both, I found it easier to kill the skedar with auto aim off at the beginning of the level, switched it back on towards the end. This has got to be the hardest level in the game, skedar ruins battle shrine was 10x easier lol
