Donuts, or doughnuts, are a popular type of fried dough confectionery or dessert food. They come in many shapes and sizes, with the most common being ring-shaped . I hope you like this easy donut recipe;
Dough ingredients:
•milk sauce ; 4tbsp milk (50g), 1tbsp flour (10g)
• 3/4 cup milk (180g)
• 1.5 tsp active dry yeast
• 3 cups all purpose flour (400g)
• 2 tosp milk powder (15g)
• 1/4 cup sugar (50g)
• 1 large egg, room temp
• 5 tbsp softened butter, divided into 2 parts (70g)
• 1/2 tsp salt
• Original glaze for half: 1.5 cup powdered sugar, 3-4 tosp milk
• Choc glaze for half: 3/4 cup chocolate chips + 1-2 tbsp

Instructions;
1. Make the milk sauce by mixing the flour and milk in a nonstick pan over medium heat until they form a thick paste
2. Mix milk sauce with cold milk, yeast and sugar, and rest for 10 min to activate the yeast
3. Add all the other ingredients except half of the butter.
4. Knead for 5 minutes at medium speed. Add the remaining butter and knead again for another 5-7 minutes until a smooth dough has formed
5. Cover and let it rise for 60-90 min in a warm place until it doubles in size
6. Roll out into a 1 cm thick circle. Cut out the donuts (~3.5" diameter) and holes. Gather the dough scraps into a ball and roll out again, repeating until the dough is used up
7. Place the donuts in a tray and let them rest for 30 minutes
8. Heat 2 inches of oil in a wok. Once it reaches 350F, turn the heat to medium low, and fry donuts 3 at a time for about 45-60s seconds per side.
9. Make your original glaze by mixing all ingredients
10. For the chocolate glaze, melt the chocolate and mix in the oil
• While still warm, dip your donuts one by one into the glazes. Enjoy!!! These are BEST if you eat them fresh
