I thought about explaining them, but I just realized Denver Riddle’s explanations were infinitely better, as he’s speaking from genuine professional colorist knowledge. Hey Dylan! Do you know how to make a numbers counter that stops on the number you set it to? I want to make a animation that shows how much something costs but I want the numbers to scroll first

Whaddduuup! Do you happen to have Motion? There is a number generator in there. You can set keyframes for the number increments! But if you publish all the parameters over to final cut, then you shouldn’t have to do anything within Motion ever again.

@@TheFinalCutBro hey! Yea I tried the numbers generator but the issue is that there is no loop feature in it. So if I enter the end value as “7” it will count from 0-7 and then that’s it. To get the scrolling effect, I’m looking for it to go “0-9,0-9, then slow down and stop at 7”

Hey I have a few questions maybe you can help me out: 1- when I open Final Cut Pro it automatically open on the untitle library. So I always have to go to my external hard drive and open the library from there. Is there a way to do it automatically from the dock. 2- I use some videos and titles in almost all the videos I make. How can I store some videos inside of every new project I make? Thanks in advance

1. That's an unusual problem! Typically when I open up FCP it loads up the last project I was working on, and whatever projects I had opened at the time of closing. However, if I open the library directly, it will close all other projects and only open up the singular project I just opened. So I am not sure why it is always opening the untitled project! 2. I am working on a tutorial for this right now, but, you can add videos into the photos app, and then load them directly into final cut pro. Keep an eye out for that video! You can also create templates using Apple Motion, which I have tons of tutorials on. So that is another option!

False Colors are a super easy visual way to understand the exposure of your scene. Red indicates over exposed, blue is underexposed and anything skin, gray or green is perfectly exposed. That being said, Denver Riddle does a way better job than I ever could explaining it! So that's why I linked his video if you want a deep understanding. But for those who just quickly want the ability to use false colors in FCP, this video is for them!
