I was born in Morocco and my favourite spots are Anchor Point, Dracula, Dar Bouazza, Imsouane and Sidi Moussa. Long time i didn´t go there. But it´s far from the place i live now, near Puerto Escondido Mexico. Nice video. Lucky you to surf there.

Damn it was really interesting to see you whipping that midi around just to compare it to my surf videos with midi gives me a few things that I'll try on the next session. I noticed your popup was much more sideways/angled almost az you are surfing shortboard. Hmm I always felt midis don't need angled takoff as you can step on the bottom turn. Thanks really enjoyed the vid.
@EternalJourneys2 жыл бұрын
Depends on the wave hey. Looks like you need to get down the line quickly from takeoff at this spot, to beat the sections. So angled takeoff would be the go

Man, I gotta get better at duck diving my big board. I'm really in love with my 6'8 twinny, but getting through solid stuff like that is tough for me pushing like 38-40ish liters at 78kg. The amount of people to how in the fucking way they are ratio at that spot is INSANE. I've deffo had some sessions with only like 5 people out, but they seem to be absolutely determined to get run over.

Hey Kale, I'm new to the sport. I'm a light guy around 125 lbs 5'9", total beginner, found a used midlength 7 foot board for $175 nearby. Waiting for the wetsuit to come in but I wanted to ask if you think I made a mistake buying a 7 footer to start? I didn't want to buy brand new and my car is kind of cramped and I couldn't get a rack.
