What would be sick now is if someone made a metal version of the plastic baseplate that the pedals bolt into. This pedal looks like it requires a lot more force than the baseplate is designed to cope with and I could easily see someone eventually breaking the mounting points... Especially because I can see some flex in the video. Great review, btw, now I'm torn between this mod and a set of clubsports.

Ive got one since many months now, and its an awesome products, very precise and its always a great fun to work with instead of potentiometer. I recommend this without any hesitation to all driver who wants the real feeling of a car braking system, hydraulic is the real deal, its cost a lot, yes, but it worth even more, i bet you you wont regret it if you get one of those someday.

@M3nta91 I like the CSPs better.. The Perfect pedal is a great solution for someone that doesn't have a set of CSPs and has a set of G25/27 pedals they want to enhance.

@5cachan Yes, though there is not direct support (you may have to select the dfp on the wheel selection part of the options), it will indeed work perfectly

@MrMISTIKAL Left foot braking :) Use the clutch on up shifts then use your left foot on the brake and reve match on the downshift.

Great vid! I race downhill mountain bikes and a high end Fox rear shock is worth £250 second hand, this is just a simple hydraulic shock chamber with a sensor! Pretty cool though!

Even though you guys mentioned how much better the Clubsport pedals are than the G27's in the GT5 review, I put the G27 on my Christmas list instead of the Fanatec 911 GT2 simply because the G27's $200 cheaper. Having watched this, it seems as though the only adequate way to get rid of the brake pedal problem would be to buy this pedal, but it would drive the grand total to $550! So my questions are, is the GT2 undoubtedly the best package out there, and is it worth $500, $200 more than the G27?

I personally prefer the CSP over this. I tried this almost 6 months ago and there were more cons than pros on my sight. First Con: the price, just beyond good and evil. Second would be that the brake had improved but the rest felt still like a toy and out of place. I also missed the adjustability I had with my loadcell like how much preasure it takes to fully brake. AND: even if the hydr. was nice it was far to stiff and cs felt more precise (also the owner of pp came to that conclusion).

i dont really get what's the use of the pedal, the company explains that it's all about breaking preassure... but correct me if i am wrong, but doesn't the pressure rise when the pedal is pushed further? i mean i can't break with more pressure without pushing the pedal further ?!? so for each pressure there is a point where that pressure is reached, then in my oppinion it's irrelevant if u messure the point or the pressure, am i wrong? i think the pedal just feels different

At that price I would rather get me self a set of Club Sports, the brake might be only loadcell but it's an all-around upgrade. For a really cheap brake upgrade on a G25/27 I would go for that AP Electrix load sensor mod.

I've gone a little further with mine and added ABS and FFB to it :p Oh I suspect that over half the cost of the PP is the Pressure to resistance sensor. They AINT cheap

Hey SRT guys, I know this is slightly unrelated to the mod, but it is pedal related. for £50 (around 65 bucks) what would you say would be the best mod to improve braking and preferably clutch movement for the G27...they are inverted.

any install help with the bodnar cable. When I plug the cable in after recalibrating the pedals the brake always runs on just a small ammount, but more than enough to slow the car. Really odd problem. right now I dont have the cable and it works fine.

is there a more affordable option out there now? All I wanted out of the logitech steering wheel/pedal/shifter set was part to base a more realistic inclosed racing rig set up with a full dash, two seats, realistic feeling clutch/brake/gas and steering column/wheel...I wonder if something like that would also work for the feeling of a hydraulic clutch? (I prefer the feeling of cable in real life) Anybody have any ideas? I want to make this happen as my wife is on board with the idea, she says we haven't done a project in a long time....but we have a VERY small budget and have to get some parts one at a time.

I dont see the problem with the cost. A frex pedal cost $2000 all up so how is $250 too much? Its also a hydraulic system, not a digital system like others available. The parts alone would cost $150, then there is R&D, maunfactoring,etc.Finally is there a crime is someone wanting to earn a few dollars by providing one of the best mods available for the G25/27? So they should do it for free? If you think its expensive, try the real world of racing, Great product and great review. Well done guys.

One of the major factors that is not mentioned, is simply the time it takes to get your hands on it. I am waiting now for almost a Month. This is a major CON. I paid through PAYPAL and it took only a few seconds. A nice confirmation e-mail showed in my inbox with the purchase confirmation and that I would be notified when it shipped with tracking information. Here is what I believe, the pedal is not just MADE when you order, you'll probably have wait until the machine shop has time to do it. Nowhere on their order page does it state that you should allow 12 to 24 weeks for delivery as it was many moons ago. This is unacceptable, if there was a statement like that, I would have looked for a different source or dropped the order completely, which I am considering right now. I can use this money towards Fanatec Club Sport Pedals and probably would have them next week.

You guys said $200, but it's $249 plus $30 core. So no matter what you lay down $280 for them. Too much. I bought the Sim-Seat SR-2 Platinum after your review and like it though. Thanks or that. I just need to mod it slightly to stiffen up the wheel mount. Shims completely fix the pedal mount flex.

It just doesn't make since as the perfect pedal is 40 bucks more then the hole dam g27 cost me and thats the diy price! Add the price of the perfect pedal to the g27 and ya got 490 bucks or get it from them and your talking $625. Why not just get a better wheel set? Someone needs to cut in on these guys cause id pay 110/125 for the perfect pedal and not a penny more. Guess ill be building my own.

The g27 pedals are compatible with the g29 wheel so I am guessing that you can do that.

An ENTIRE Fanatec ClubSport Pedals V2 set is the SAME price and comes with not only a load cell brake BUT a MUCH better clutch and accelerator pedal AND FULL ALUMINUM CONSTRUCTION. Look, I'm not saying the "Perfect Pedal" isn't good or anything...just saying that for what it is the price is outrageous. If someone has $250 for a brake mod they most likely wouldn't be using a cheaper plastic Logitech wheel to begin with.
