Finally a video which clearly demonstrates the tongue position you know when u are a foreigner you can't really get the difference just by listening or using a poor or not tremendously clear tongue image after all there is a lot of different L's out there lol Also a tip for Arabic speakers the dark L or the L in the end of the word he was talking about *I guess* actually exists in Arabic too but only in the standard pronunciation of the word ( الله ) -except when it follows long or short /i/ when it is not emphatic: بسم الله according to wiki - While we usually if not always use normal L in every other word like ( ليمون،لسان،لقاح....ألخ )

Excellent video! I know it will help a lot of people out there. If I may, however: an L before a consonant is pronounced the same way as a final L, as in "alter" and "Sir Elton John." That last example uses both the L and R sounds. "Parallelogram" is an awesome practice word. I give this video 6 stars and an Oscar!

I noticed that as a man it's much easier to learn the correct pronunciation from another man. I was watching many videos with female teachers before and wasn't able to get that sound right (same with th). After seeing videos with male teachers I instantly got I right :-o thanks!
