Glad you enjoyed it! The Reykjavík EDITION is of my favorite hotels in the world as it’s an escape from the busyness of life. I felt so relaxed there. My trip though was about 12 nights long. Started with 3 nights at Reykjavík EDITION. Then 2 nights at JW Marriott Venice, 2 nights at St. Regis Venice, 1 night at St. Regis Rome, and finally 3 nights at W Rome.

Yes, I believe only during winter. Staff said you have a great view from the rooftop bar.

It isn't the first luxery hotel in all of iceland. The blue lagoon retreat is fantastic and has 5 stars as well.

The Blue Lagoon retreat looks fantastic!! And yeah, looks very luxurious and actually does look like it’s 5 star. Thanks for letting me know and I do hope to stay there someday! I believe then the EDITION is the only 5 star hotel in Reykjavik.
