Thanks for the feedback and happy you agree. This is a property I would never go back to. St. Regis is much nicer but when I went it was during Covid so like hardly any staff. Curious what the service is like now days 🤔

@ substantial improvement. I’m local and it’s my favorite staycation spot. I also think that the quality of their base level room is extremely high given other local options.

Had a similarly/more underwhelming experience at the St. Regis next door. Room was not clean (found a used razor in the bathroom trash when we checked in). Service was not up to par either. Spent almost 200,000 points for a one night stay. The Ritz in South Beach was absolutely top notch though!

Oh wow! I had a better experience at St. Regis. But Ritz South beach was the worst one, absolutely terrible service. It scared me. Glad you didn’t experience that.

There seems to be great variability among the RC hotels. Some are just so over the top luxurious while others are pedestrian. In general, I hear from Ambassador Elites that Florida hotels are not top notch when it comes to service.

Good review: the Ritz service as one knows it happens very rarely in many Ritz', it is all about the brand, premium price, and Hotel program to have the property sold out. A sophisticated traveller would not choose Ritz anymore for quite some time. Too bad!

Thick robes in miami is rare, its too hot. People want something to throw on while out on the balcony.
