Perfect Wall of Sound Reverb App | haQ attaQ

Here's an AUv3 Reverb App for iPad and iPhone that completely took me by surprise. When it comes to exceptionally long Reverb Tails, this one this one does that type of stuff exceptionally well. Stratosphere Cloud Reverb is most definitely a no-brainer purchase and even though this app has been designed with Ambience genres mind, anyone could and would benefit from integrating this one into their production toolset.

Extremely useful for swamp slide guitar. Line up a couple of reverbs- and a shimmer, to keep the metallic element down- play a note, then go and get a coffee. Or two.

Mani Consulting Limited Company, formerly known as Blue Mangoo is definitely one of my top devs. iFretless Bass, Brass, Sax are FANTASTIC apps too. Velocity KB too. These literally turn your ipads into "3D Touch" devices by using your accelerometer, besides they sound AMAZING. I don't think I've used another "real" bass other than MCLC's for a while now. I literally bought this reverb the second it came out just out of the incredible respect these guys deserve imo. I knew it was going to be EPIC. And it certainly is. PS: no, really, if you like their reverb... check their stuff out. I'd even go as far as saying it's not EVEN their best plugin, and IT'S STILL fantastic.

Stratosphere clouds sounds goooood! Thanks for the breakdown. I always have trouble deciding which reverb is for me, so these breakdowns help me understand what each one is best at or competent at, whether it's acoustic vs. Drones, the reverb algorithm can almost be as important as the Synth/source sound itself.

Hey Jakob. I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you I'm impressed with your English. You make some mistakes (often with the he/she/it 's'), but generally you're quite good! I teach English in Germany, and know that many Europeans speak great English. Daniel G I don’t understand how you can’t understand what I understand 🤪 I’m a noob, so there’s lots I don’t understand. But what I do know is that there are all kinds of AUv3s, some good, some not so good. Rather, some useful for my creative process and some not so much. I really wonder if it is possible to create the ultimate reverb. A reverb where you can control everything. But I guess it is not possible, because they all do things somewhat differently. And a monster reverb with 20 dials (or more) is not a solution either, it is just confusing. Would be nice to talk to some reverb makers and ask them why they think the reverbs are different, and how they do it. And I also would love a reverb workshop. I mean, Jakob, you are already helping so much by showing how to use these reverbs. But finding out more about these reverbs, how to do different kinds of effects, ambience, room, space, shimmer, spring, chaining with other effects or reverbs, and how it sounds on different material. But that would be an epic endeavor 😂 😅 🐢.

Jakob, I’m trying to replicate your first sound example. How do you mute the direct sound of spacecraft, yet still have those notes able to produce sound? Thanks

You set up two channels in AUM. . Load spacecraft in an input slot on channel one. . Then setup a send by loading a send bus (A) into an Fx slot on that same first channel. . Then on the second channel, load send bus (A) into the input slot. . Add the Startosphere plugin to an Fx slot on that second channel and make sure to tweak the [wet mix] knob to the max (100%). . Mute the first channel and there you have it.

Don’t have Alteza so I can’t say. With Blackhole, get something kinda similar to it but the tail trails of way earlier than Stratosphere. The sound is completely different too. Not the same effect in the end. 50 secs of decay time makes a lot of difference.
