A bit of gain reduction before compressing would do the vocal even more justice

that's a lot of compression bro that thing was hitting -20 DAMN

If you watched until around 5:40 to 6:00 you will see the actual compression after eq that I went with for this vocal. There were a couple peaks that got up there but that was because of the vocal performance. The average was around 7 db of reduction
