I remember when I first became an ELF last year I repeatedly listened to Black suit when I was studying, eating and even when I was in the wash room😂 I didn't know members' names back then but kept listening to Yesung's parts trying to memorize his name 😆 This song occupies a huge part in my ELF life and still my fav up to the day.

Leeteuk is also perfection in this. I already liked SuJu through "Sorry, Sorry" and "Spy" shortly before "Black Suit" came out (I'm a sucker for suits), but Leeteuk became my bias through this video. The red hair with that haircut, the deep blue pinstripe suit with the tie and handkerchief, the high cheekbones, along with his graceful gestures as the auctioneer... OMG. Like an Asian version of a British dandy. I'm glad he's not quite as thin as he was back then though, he said himself that he had some health issues at the time. To me he always looks great in every era and in anything, but that look still is my favorite. He used to be one of the most popular idols in SuJus heyday, and Im glad he's such a successful MC now, but I think his looks nowadays are underappreciated, perhaps because he's a bit on the feminine side.

@@EliMarieReacts Agreed. :) I think he still looks striking when hes not styled much at all. But I do like some looks more than other. And the thing is, when he looks expensive his whole manner changes as well. In the "Black Suit" era he developed a kind of haughty couture model persona in photoshoots that I find fascinating in ways I cant explain. Its androgenous, but in a subtle, sophisticated way and it doesnt look too artificial. Its unique, I find it very fitting that his stage name means "special".

@@EliMarieReacts As an update to this, he surprised us with a new haircut on his way to SS9 Hong Kong: dyed red again, but very short, like he hasnt had since the military. Most people seem to like it, perhaps because it looks more masculine.

I find it interesting how obsessed South Koreans are with heists. It's not just a very common topic in movies (eg The Thieves is like a Korean version of Ocean's Eleven) and TV, even in genres where you wouldn't expect it (eg K-Dramas), but also in music videos. This was already the second one for SuJu after "Devil"! And Leeteuk recently posted a hilarious short of himself and another guy breaking and entering and stealing some random stuff.

Btw, did someone notice the male background dancer with the skirt and high heels at 2:08 (exactly where EliMarie stopped the video)? :) I find that particularly noteworthy because he's shown together with Siwon, who was accused of homophobic comments. Maybe they wanted to make up for that in a subtle way, just like Yesung was once accused of racism because he wore a "blackface" costume at a Halloween party (Marvel character Nick Fury), and SuJu were one of the few if not first Korean boy groups who had a black background dancer in "Don't Wait".

The only funny/interesting facts I know is that Kyuhyun kinda hates Black Suit and this Era because he wasn't part of it, and he might hate it more since ELF chose Play album, that's the name of the album where Black Suit is the main title track, as one of SuJu's best and their favourite, and he did not take that very well 😅😅 but on the other hand, there is Ryeowook, even tho he was also not part of it, he loves Black Suit, and he kinda begged Kyu to learn the choreography with him because he wanted to be part of the live performances!! 🤣🤣 Now going back to Kyu, I've seen him performed this songs a several times where it kinda looks like his not giving a 100% because he doesn't want to do it lol but I can think of only one time where I saw him that he actually look like he was giving his all and having a great time performing Black Suit, and, it was at KCAMP, I know haha, have you seen his fancam, THE fancam?
