As an artist too, I can relate to this.... Perfection can be both a positive and negative trait. You could spend so much time trying to create a grand piece; but you just need to accept that it won't be perfect

Why aren't fathers in cartoons like bandit? Mostly, men are portrayed as stupid or not responsible for his own kids like they're just there to be comic relief or something

From what I got from the episode. Bluey felt her feelings were hurt when Chilli temporarily put Bingo’s drawing over her’s on the fridge. It probably sparked a little sibling rivalry. Bluey would of probably been ok with the drawing pin “next” to hers But chilli calling Bingo’s drawing perfect might of triggered imperfection from Bluey by comparing a 5 year old’s drawing to the drawing skills of a 6 year old

I have learned so much from this show. Being perfect is a form of being or art. Art is suggestive and being a perfect human is self destroying, Chili helped Bluey in the episode called Dragon? Anyways It's good for adunices and all figures of life. Thanks for sharing your thoughts once again^^

Yeah, this is a really good take on a Bluey episode about imperfection, as that’s what makes unique as if we were all the same, and what’s the point of living, life is already to begin with?

I'd say it's less that "flaw make us perfect" and more that "perfection is the enemy of good". If your goal is perfection, you will ultimately be disappointed. If your goal is to better yourself and get as close to perfect as you can, you can only find satisfaction. Bluey addresses the imperfections in everyone by showing how to learn and grow from them and celebrating what you do get right.

What a MASTERFUL analysis, mate! The important thing relies on the care, and effort you put into it and the love you deliver to your family. That's a large part of why this show succeeds, it doesn't idolize or demerit parenting skills, it tells you no one is (as you mention) perfect and that it's ok we all commit mistakes, the important thing is to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep going as the show must go on! Parental idealization is nonexistent, there isn't a standard to achieve and as stated before, no one is perfect, as Chilli masterfully stated in this episode, "It isn't about being PERFECT, just the best you can do". No one is exempt from making mistakes, missteps, or erring… we all do, it's part of our nature, but what's TRULY important is to learn guided by our past mistakes, to grow becoming the best version of ourselves each day, a never-ending lesson/cycle that never ceases, and at the same time a projection of our imperfect humanity. The accusations around the show being 'idealistic' are so ridiculous it hurts, like… WOW, someone must be quite damaged to even relate indoctrination and gender 'degrading' over one of the most wholesome, cleverly written, and masterful series, not only of the decade but for television in general. I can't help to roll my eyes whenever this kind of accusatory nonsense about Bluey being 'a liberal propaganda' or a 'recriminatory message for parenting idealism', both things the show has been proven neutral and open towards, avoiding to take a side around these nonsensical accusations. The show's message isn't to 'mold and engraves parents into following the show's footsteps', quite the contrary, it tries to express that there are many different types of parenting, a vast variety, and that as long you are willing to put the effort and care, you're doing great… it sends the message that everyone can struggle through this process (even experts) and that there's no such thing as 'ideal parenting', nobody is perfect nor flawless and we're all prone to commit mistakes, it is ok to fail as long as you learn from your past errors and (like Chilli's list dictates) have a little cry, brush yourself off, pick yourself up and keep going as THE SHOW MUST GO ON. It's depressing to consider some people have such low self-esteem that they feel aggravated by a fictional family depicting a healthy and loving relationship, thinking these lessons serve as 'scolds and reprimands' for not following the same tactics the Heeler couple uses, and twisting the entire show's message to appease their detrimental needs to satanize such a wholesome message, be free to get inspired of the Heeler's method of parenting and if mimicking it works for you, THAT'S GREAT! And if it's not your cup of tea and you find a different path of how to effectuate your own style, that's also valid; again the show does not try to enforce you to mimic it's tactics, it is set as an example for if you want or need to follow through… it's again valid to differ, but enforcing wrong and detrimental accusations to damage the show's integrity, isn't the done thing.

Yeah none of my stuff get very many likes or comments as much as they did say 5 or 10 years ago. And it's a bummer but I keep going because the few likes and comments that might come in are so worth it, as well as just the satisfaction of finishing things that I'm looking forward to seeing the end result of.

When I make an OC for a show I like, such as Bluey, I agonize over every detail. My Blueysona is a cockapoo, and I am constantly asking myself if the colors look like they would belong on a character in the show, or if the proportions are right.

Just to add something, also as an ol artist. Someone tellin you that youre drawing doesnt look like what you intended, is constructive critisism. Its all about tone and delivery. As artist, we always have to remember that everything is subjective, and the things we put out arent just for other artist to see and comment on. Other artist who are able to help gear someones drawing in the desired direction, arent the only ones with valid critisism.

Controversial opinion but "The Sign" was a bad episode. Something they don't like is happening outside of their control, Bluey sulks and throws a tantrum, they talk to her about some things have to change and it comes with benefits to and then... they don't move. The kid gets what they want after constantly complaining about it. That's without going into the ridiculousness of them just cancelling the sale which would still cost them thousands in fees, or the fact that they were ready to move which also means they already bought another house. And what about Bandit's job?
@sarahhenry3607
@sarahhenry3607 Ай бұрын
so few things, Bluey never threw a tantrum. not once. she expressed that she was upset with the change and just didnt understant why it had to happen. she never once would stomp her feet or throw a fit of crying and thrashing. She did what any other kid would do and tried to take down the sign she thought was responsible for the move. Your last couple points... dude its a kids show. you dont gotta think that deep on it. Bluey isnt a show where they are suddenly gonna touch on what it means to back out of a housing contract that hasnt been signed yet, or what commuting to work is.
@almightyk11
@almightyk11 Ай бұрын
@sarahhenry3607 I know it's a kids show. I don't expect them to go into details, but "let's just not move" is not a good conclusion to teach children.
@sarahhenry3607
@sarahhenry3607 Ай бұрын
@almightyk11 again. You're thinking too deep for what's again, a kids show. The home buyers found a better option, they go through with that one and pull out of the Heeler home deal. Maybe they pay some because of it. Heelers don't move to whatever unmentioned apartment. Regardless. At this point, you're wondering more about real life nuance to home owning. There's no reason for the show to go into any of that detail either. It was never a "let's just not move" It was a father being given a golden ticket moment to rethink a major choice for him and his family. The episode mentions many times how bandit is worried if he is even making the right choice to do this, and his own brother tells him how he is worrying too much. They were going through with the move, on their way out, right until that phone call came.
@thevioletskull8158
@thevioletskull8158 Ай бұрын
@@sarahhenry3607 it's true that Bandit didn't really want to move and only did because of his job and Bluey didn't throw a tantrum but just because Bluey is a kids show,dosen't mean it shouldn't be criticised. Bluey is a good kids show,that' what kids need. Anyways the sign for me at least was a bit off putting because the "lesson" is small decisions can effect you life in a positive way but imo it would of been been better for them to move. The kids could have learned that sometimes you have to do things you don't want to but it can be ok at the end. That seem better to me imo but it's ok for people to like the original.
