I traded in my Tesla for a Silverado EV LT about a month ago... I love the truck. Haven't seen anyone else on the road with one yet. Guess you are either team EV or a hater. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I also own a 2023 Yukon Denali so I'm not sure what seems so cheap feeling to you. Dealers down here in NC are offering a lot of incentives and my LT was only $63k out of the door so not much for me to complain about.

I have the RST I spent 96k...this guy will never make it as he has not clue about charging especially using MILAGE for charging.....does not even know what Kilowatts are. No wonder why has 23k subs. Dealer sold 3 96k RST in one hour at Beaver Chevrolet in Florida.

The LT is available with midgate. By adding that option your still able to keep the MSRP under the CAP for the $7500.

Nothing was forced at all. No truck should have that interior quality at a 75k sticker. For reference… that’s the same price as a f-150 lightning lariat which also has more insensitives than these.

I agree, however I think the lighting and Rivian make them both look bad. I just personally think those are much better looking vehicles. Same with the hummer EV it just looks so much better imo

I've literally never jumped in any vehicle and knocked on stuff to see if it's plastic lol. I own over thirty vehicles. Also all of the knobs you are looking for can be accessed with your voice.... "hey Google set temperature to 68 degrees...." they still have physical hvac and stereo buttons also. Video comes across as extremely biased no clue why you are so irritated but maybe try being neutral since you actually didn't spend a dime on this vehicle. Happy Holidays

"Who's ever going to buy this?" We are. :D We're currently in a Volvo XC40 Recharge, which is...man - haven't been to the gas station in almost 2 years. Wild. However, we recently bought a horse, so we're looking to pull a 1-horse trailer - but there's so many "But EV's Can't Tow" people out there, right? We're never gonna tow more than 100 miles anyway, so it'll be nice to have an EV that can tow the horse trailer 100 miles, and *also* go 300 miles between charges on a road trip.

I’m waiting to order the LT in a couple of months. These guys don’t know what they are talking about. Midgate is offered on the LT. They got most of the details wrong with range, etc.. The LT has 170 kwhs and you need the big batteries for towing and I wished they offered the 205 kw. This truck will tow better than ICE vehicles. It also has the WOW mode but I’m not sure why everyone is hung up on 0-60

I own the LT and agree with you. A ton of the information they gave is way off base.. also this truck charges about twice as fast as the lightning and just cause you have a bigger battery doesn’t mean you have to fully charge it..

Not everyone should be a car reviewer. This channel included. Either this guy is digging for points or he really doesnt know how the car works - you dont need to turn the vehicle on and off through the screen, for example. Any sort of driving would have told you that unless you're already caught up on your ways.

I own an equinox EV very familiar with these … you turn it on by hitting the brake. However the car will not shutoff until you walk away from it. Unless you go thru the screen. Which is completely fine on a day to day basis. My dad was simply stating for us making a video it’s quite annoying vs Ford EVs which still feature normal light controls and a normal power button

It’s a very hard comparison to talk about because it very much so depends on if your DC fast charging or charging at home over night. Over night at home your savings will be significant DC fast charging will be pretty much the same as a gas vehicle

In Quebec canada this truck make lot of sense !!! with fuel price close to 7$/ gallon and 0.08$ per kw. fuel price for 20k mile is around 10K versus around 2k$ in electricity. This truck paid for itself pretty quickly.

There is some truth and lack of knowledge shown in this video. The interior does look cheap , it looks like an avalanche (not a good thing), the front end is too “bubbly”, it isn’t worth $75K+tax. The lack of knowledge is 1) you cant just say it takes longer to get to full charge hence that is bad. What matters is charge time per mile gained. It’s no worse than competition. 2). You can find these 7K off already. Factor in the $7.5k tax credit and now it’s a $61K vehicle (plus tax). At that price point there is a lot of utility and practicality, which many people will find attractive.

You have a pretty good chance of being able to do that with 450 miles of range that’s for sure but definitely an annoying/ long wait to do it… also have to find a hotel with a charger lol

I just did a 3,000 mile road trip in 4 days in my Silverado ev LT trim. The charging assumptions for road trips he made are completely off base. At almost every charger we stopped at we were getting 600 miles an hour charge rate or more. You start your day off with a full charge drive 3 hours or so stop to pee get snacks and stuff so plug in there by the time your done going to the bathroom and stuff it’s been 10 or 15 minutes you have added another 100 to 150 miles of range to your charge. You jump back in and have at least 300 miles of range to go and you repeat this cycle again.. only stopping for lunch say 20 minutes now your back to at least 300 miles of range.. your last stop is for dinner and you charge all the way up then get your hotel.. wake up and repeat

Have absolutely nothing against evs at all. I love my equinox EV. I have something against evs that are absolutely outrageously priced when they have the same build quality as a 22k ford Maverick. Anyone that buys one of these is going to loose at least 30k in the next 3 years. I guarantee it.
