Dang i was thinking about the badlands with sas just as a daily driver deer hunting occasionally would do trails and some rock climbing in hot springs. The wild trak may be the better package just watching this video. Can you get wild trak with sas package. Both are great looking broncos. Decisions decisions.
@PerformanceOnWheels4 сағат бұрын
The wildtrak comes standard with the Sasquatch package! You can’t get one without it!

Totally happy with my 2 door 2021 2.7 Bronco Outer Banks advanced 4x4 with the lux package. It now has the HOSS 3.0 steering rack, all the GOAT modes, and disconnecting the sway bar is only 2 bolts. Plenty happy with the Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 suspension that only set me back $900. I am saving thousands by not replacing it, because to buy a 2.7 2 door Bronco in 2025 is not possible unless you spend $75k!

Fyi, get rid of the oiled k&n filter! It flows a ton of dirt! Check out Project Farms air filter test. Install a high flow dry filter and add an oiled foam wrap around it. The depth filtration is effective without restriction.😊

I own a Badlands with Sasquatch Hoss 2.0. The main reason I purchased it over the Wildtrak is the Sta-bar release for rock crawling in Western Virginia. I may eventually upgrade some things but for now I'm good with my Badlands.

Come on...apples to apples, not apples to oranges. Basic! The comparison is pathetic. Do Explorer Platinum to Lincoln Aviator Black Label. Top vs. Top.
@PerformanceOnWheels3 күн бұрын
The top is actually the explorer ST. Which is why we stated in the video we are comparing the ST not the platinum. The ST is more expensive making it a more even comparison

Hell no, have both 3.6 and 2.0. The 3.6 has common flaws but this 2.0 is absolute garbage, overheating, 02 sensors gone bad, timing chain tensioner bad, now dealing with what sounds like rod knock. All before 50k miles. The engine sounds like bearings tumbling in a drier and that’s apparently normal. Stay away!

Sorry but this just seems ricey, all cheap, crappy parts just for aesthetics. Please focus more on actually making the truck perform better, and less on how it looks
@PerformanceOnWheels3 күн бұрын
It’s a Maverick. What are you going to do with a unibody vehicle to change the performance?
@hamatajakkola28103 күн бұрын
@@PerformanceOnWheels Spend money on a lift that will actually improve the vehicle's off-road handling, comfort, and capabilities; not the cheapest shit lift you can find. You could easily afford this by not spending money on fake carbon fiber, lights, and all that other stuff. I would also never trust those Chinese tires for offroading in your "overlander." Also, you do realize those old Cherokees people take up "devil's ballsack" are also unibody? So, I have no idea what you meant by that.
@PerformanceOnWheels3 күн бұрын
@hamatajakkola2810 there is absolutely nothing on the market that provides that and I got every single item on this Maverick for free to shoot videos on it.

I went Badlands SAS loaded. Has everything you need offroad, but I love the MGV interior which carries over to the floors. Perfect for kids to spill stuff on or get mud all over the place, and you can rinse it out easily. Wildtrack has the leather seats and carpet. For offroading or keeping it nice from spills and oops, thats a non starter. And I used forscan to add sport mode to my BD SAS, so Im not missing that. And I also powder coated the beauty rings on the wheels for that all gloss black look and it looks SICK. Thats my only issue with the badlands is the silver rings on the wheels which I fixed for cheap and a bit of my time. I would love to have the HOSS 3.0 shocks/suspension from the WT, but for 2025 the Badlands will have it. Badlands is for people who will play hard, and the WT is for the pavement princesses.

Help!! Im on the fence between these 2. I agree with everything theyve said in the video from test driving both vehicles. I've even made a pro and con list for both and the C8 always wins. However, the pretty rowdyness of the Jag keeps pulling me back. Im looking at an 8 y/o used jag which is nearly 30k less than a used c8. The only reason i didnt snag ghe jag yet was because its 8 years old, has an SOS warning light on the dash, and the model has been discontinued. Vs the c8 which is still under warranty. Can anyone offer an opinion or advise on this????!!!!
@PerformanceOnWheels4 күн бұрын
I bet you will loose 30k plus on the c8.. buy the jag. Wait a few years until c8s are 40k! Sell the jag for close to what you bought it for and grab a c8!

What defines a Muscle Car? SRA, poor handling (which I wouldn't call a S197 Mustang a poor handling car especially your 2010+ cars) how about you have to weight 3,500+ lbs and rock 400+ ci's or more or your just have a pony car? Maybe only OHV engine cars can be muscle cars? Does F/R weight distrabution define a muscle car or otherwise? Basically I'm asking why would we consider a S197 a muscle car, and not a S550 car? Both the S197's and S550's origins date back to the DEW98 arcitecture. Both are overbudgeted, and mediocre platforms at best, that can be made to perform well with their large aftermarketd. Ford just added an IRS, and some goofy double ball jointed setup up front on a S550 that Ford claimed was neccessary, yet GM's Alpha uses a traditionally front strut design, and it's a far superior platform to S550. Even in stock coupe form a Terminator is a very flat cornering car, especially for one built on a SN95 chassis. Is it a muscle car? My 03 Cobra has the same weight distrabution as my 03 Lightning, and the Terminator is a understeering pig when push at it's limits, but it corners flat while doing it. Are Terminators Muscle cars? Certainly my 19 1SS 1LE can't be a muscle car, or maybe it's a muscle car that puts a lot of sports cars to shame in a corner? I just get tired of how loosly people throw out claims of any given model being a muscle car when it suites them, then the next minute it, "Mustangs have gotten to ve so good at handling that they're no longer muscle cars, they're sports cars." It's ridulious just how loosly the definition of the GEN5 and GEN6 Mustang and Camaro gets thrown around. Is a S550 GT500 a better performing, better handling car than a 13/14 GT500? Sure, but it's a newer more modern, more expensive car rock things like MRC, DCT, very sticky Michelin Pilot SC2's on the carbon models, as opposed to GY Eagle Supercar2's on the 13/14 cars. For it's era the 13/14 cars were capable of producing some pretty capable lap times. I think a 1:37 or 1:38 around Laguna Sega. Sub-3:00 around VIR. Sub-7:40 around the Ring. These times are faster than the times a stock non-Centennial C6 Z06 on GY run-flats put down at those same tracks.
