My mother is dying and I am caring for her at home. She is 88 yrs old so not an unexpected death. I am looking at her wedding photo, she is wearing a silk dress she had made, ballerina length with petticoats with her cut short. She was a stylish young woman. I am wearing Cristalle today and it is brining me great comfort and strength to get through what must be done in these final days. I am listening to Gillian Welch. Life is beautiful.

I like N°5 L’Eau the most. The parfum, edp & edt all use older musk bases which I don’t enjoy as much as the newer base in L’Eau. I see chanel is launching something new related to N°5 L’Eau coming soon too

the modern edt can be sunny and bright, but the older ones are so heavy on civet and musk they smell like a dirty wild animal to me
