I like De Profundis by Serge Lutens for spooky season. It makes me think of what a garden witch would smell like or Sarah Sanderson from Hocus Pocus. The name also sounds like a curse or latin words in a potion. A number of perfumes from this house give me spooky vibes.

Sooo happy to see Mandorle here omg this one is to die for.. on a man or a woman tbh, it's weird because cherries aren't listed in the notes but it does give a cherry mixed fruit compote vibe but not like fresh cherry, but the suede and how it's blended is amazing the dry down is so good

I have! It's a good one for sure, just not quite for me. The opening smells like a chocolate orange candy, and as it dries down, the vanilla amps up and there's less bitter orange, although it stays citrusy throughout. :)

@@hannahlm06210reporting back to say that Iris Cartegena is AMAZING!! Here’s the review I wrote up for it: Iris Cartegena is perfect for autumn and winter, I get a cozy, smoky marshmallow vibe. Respectfully, I feel like this is probably what Commodity was trying to acheive with Milk, but Bon Parfumer did it better. Blended expertly, nothing is screechy. Smells better and better with each wear! Iris Cartegena is the true embodiment of a dark winter’s night. I feel I can hear champagne glasses clinking while jazz music plays at a fancy holiday party. 100% full bottle worthy

I have! I wasn't a fan of it, I would describe it as masculine, very earthy, green, woody, and aromatic. Lots of patchouli, lavender, and musk, with some sandalwood and cinnamon

I break out Lush's Lord of Misrule and Turmeric Latte. Floral Street Black Lotus. 5Sens Burn for You. Replica Autumn Vibes. Le Labo Thé Noir. Eilish No 2. These are the ones I relate most to October for me, in Florida it's still too hot to wear "darker" fragrances 😵‍💫
