Perimenopause and Mammograms symptoms

Today I talk about being at the age where I start having perimenopause symptoms. They can get really bad. I also talk about how I have an upcoming mammogram second round because they found changes.

Hey Mel! So last year during my chemo it shot me into m Premenopause and it was crazy!!! I just had a hysterectomy 2 weeks ago and so far no symptoms. I am a breast cancer Survivor

My cousin had a routine mammo in 2023, and was diagnosed with breast cancer. That pushed me to move up mine…thinking it wouldn’t show anything. Wrong…a spot was seen. Fast forward a few days, and a biopsy on the spot found resulted in my own bc diagnosis. At that same time, my aunt had a recurrence. Trust me…any woman who is putting off getting their mammo done, DO IT. The minor discomfort from getting one done is NOTHING compared to the treatment for cancer.

@ thank you. Completed active treatment in early 2024 and as of my scan in Oct 24, there’s no evidence of disease. 🙌🏻

I went through the hot flashes last year..... I am just weird .... my other thing had stopped when I was around 45 but I had no symptoms.... but when I hit sixty, sixty one, I started in with the hot flashes. I felt like I would simply melt. It does go away eventually, but while you have them it is miserable.
