Actually…I wonder if what he’s doing is playing upstrokes on the upbeats. Of course, it’s still interesting to see in the wild but when I first read your comment and watched him play, I thought he was arbitrarily playing upstrokes. Only after repeating the chorus did I notice the placement of the upstrokes.

An absolutely killingly beautiful song, one of the best Periphery has ever written in my opinion, and an outstanding performance by Mark Holcomb, what a talented and awesome human being! Mark Holcomb is an amazing guitarist and PRS nailed it with this guitar for metal players new Picups are also amazing just minor things are missing in this guitar like use graphtech nut instead of plastic nut and provide locking tuners i request Prs to please look into this matter and upgrade hardware

Just bought this guitar, hoping the finish looks as good as it does on this one! That blue is fire, I just wish it came with locking tuners and a graph tech nut, no worries though I'm gonna put them on. Never played a 20" radius, hoping it makes the bends feel blissful 😊 only thing that worries me is the volume knob placement, do you find you hit it by mistake often mark? I'm usually just a one volume knob guy no tone.

Mark is a very economic picker so I don't think the volume knob gets in his way. You can always take it out and just run one volume instead of a tone knob. I had a limited edition stealth 6 string but the radius gave me hand cramps so I had to return it.

I recently bought the purple version, damn! This one is solid too! The 6string that is. 20” radius plays suprisingly well, probably i’m used to PRS necks (custom core, se baritone, se tremonti and vela). So for me it felt right at home. Just got a non-prs guitar with 13,5” radius, C-shape and other specs… feels so foreign to me, not bad and not good, just new.
