Perkins 6354.4 fire up 💪 Massey 135 cab fabric issue still 🤦‍♂️ and bit more stripped off the next MF 1250.

Flexible cab components changed at Serial 400001. ROPS frames stay the same on rigid and flexible cabs irrespective of Serial numbers. Side window plastics and lower door plastics complety different part numbers. Why the change, trying to find out from Service Bulletins. Best solution, get replacements made from originals. Bottom hole is supply, it feeds the twin filters, this oil is fed from an internal tube/pipe from the other side of the engine, the clean oil is then passed through the top hole which is the main supply to the crank/cam/engine. the top oil hole on the left and right side are the same (post filter) oil supply through the #3 crank main bearing casting. Ideally, to change the filter to the injection pump side (the oil supply comes from the injection pump side), you need to remove the sump and run the correct oil supply tube/pressure relief valve for that orientation. On engines running the oil filter on the IP side of the engine, these engines have a small tube that uses the bottom hole as not only the over pressure relief valve, but also, the piston oil cooling jets. The over pressure relief valve is a dual pressure valve that only feeds the piston cooling jets after a preset pressure is reached, and also to relive pressure in an over pressure situation. I'm sure I've made this sound more complicated than it needs to be.

You have to chance the supply from the oilpump if you change from right to left hand oilfilterarrangment, or you be missing oilpressure.

I think you could feed the turbo from that hole but I think you must make a manifold that feeds most of the oil back into the bottom hole as that is feeding the main gallery.

What a start, ran as sweet as a nut.You've got the patience of a saint with that 135 cab. So frustrating cos the original Massey cabs were a good job, it was surprising how much heat u got out with the engine cover round.Interesting video, thanks. Regards, Poth.

On the door bottoms there is meant to be flappy stuff inside (that’s what you called it) I have an original door and it has the flappy stuff inside and you fold it with the floor, there should be a hook think to crook a elastic band that goes to a knob on the inside of the fender to hold the flappy stuff in

Ta , the ones supplied are way too big ! Even the pockets where the frame glues in is like 4 inch too wide ! I have the original ones so going to get them custom made 👍👍
