Hmm interesting, seems like she can do 3 hits in pve, but the animation speed will ultimately be her downfall. Overall, due to the mana cost, narin/argen still outdamaged her and allows you to do more damage in quick succession. 🤔 She only comes ahead in a scenario where you have a very low amount of debuffs (like no more than 4-5)

@@TheFarmito true. But in EU we made best time in castle and toh with perna. Toh 1.29 min White castle 10.4 sec We couldnt get good times with Argen and narin

The Boss unit in Training Area is NOT immune to CC effects unfortunately, hence Perna's 2nd skill did not proc the 50% Defense Penetration and 2 additional Skill usages. You might want to re-test the damage numbers on an actual Boss instead, maybe in a solo Raid or similar, for a fairer comparison. 🙂

A clear giveaway is that there is no Unrevivable debuff applied on the Boss unit from Perna's 2nd skill. Also, if you watch the animation closely, Perna only uses the 2nd skill once.

Yeah, it didnt proc the additional but i counted in the additional proc in the calculations. My mistake was missing that perna hits a 3rd time on top of it. The main problem is the animation speed tho. With such slow activation speed (especially in solo raids), you will regen more mana while she still does the animation than when it costs to cast the skill. Also while casting, you can move a monster which can be a bit problematic when trying to dodge :D

I tend to run jaara, narin ha and a cleanser/healer. The thing with jaara in comparison with perna is that she lands deff break and branding effect so she increases the damage a lot. I think if you have branding narin ha would be better than perna

Very interesting video, so perna is weaker in dmg overall but safer in solo thanks to his passive and need less debuff. Have you tested the Dark kitsune ( Kamiya ) i feel like she does absurd amount of dmg to bosses, set up her own dots, atk up and speed up. Her AI is also perfect she does S1 into S2 everytime.

dark kitsune is the only monster that can beat argen imo. like a large difference.

Yup, essentially perna is strong as a dps unit that needs minimal setup (or even without setup at all due to the 50% def penetration). But when it comes to min-maxing damage, narin and argen will still be superior in the majority of cases. But, perna works like a godtier unit as a secondary dps to extra damage + setup narin/argen damage. dmg taken up and anti revive adds 2 debuffs, and the extra dmaage from both skills will make her an amazing choice in your team!

she does, but she comes with ALOT of restriction. ( talking bout kamiya ) 1. its essentially a 5 mana nuke, instead of 3 like others. her s1 does so little its almost laughable so unless you pewpew 10 bullet you're doing virtually 0 damage 2. so because of point 1, she needs to be under verd ult to even output slightly better dmg than argen. without verd ult, she got absolutely outclassed by both verd and narin. 3. EVEN under verd ult, kamiya have a long ass animation, and you have to alternate s1>s2 while argen is just fire and forget. you can dish 3 argen s2 before kamiya finish her whole sequence ( you cannot precast kamiya's s1 unless all 10 bullets has been fired. so there's alot of downtime while waiting the bullets to land ) 4. so in short, kamiya only outdps argen hard, if you have elenoa. summoner's damage + kamiya and argen/narin, thats how you outdps as kamiya. she alone just perform about the same as a well runed argen. and this is also taking into account that she's dark. your nat 1 2 3 book bonuses are going to be much, much lower compared to the rgb part. you lost a substantial amount of attack due to that, even more annoying you only can deal boosted damage in light guild raid, and those dont even need kamiya to reach rank one. the only nice thing i can say about kamiya is that you only need 1 dps to tackle all content without worrying about element, and thats about it really.

@@rhesapratama4194 interesting thought.... i still want kamiya tho. Im pretty sure u can do something about building a team around her. I find soleta best partner. Heres my "all out" raid comp: Argen/Narin/Hwahee/Dark Orbia. Thats about 8-9 debuffs coming from my team. Right now im trying to switch out hwahee with Naomi (building her atm) if i see another atk buffer or hwahee in my party.

The test is not accurate, first perna hito 3 times on a boss not 2 and as the Boss fight usually is long she can stack damage taken up to 10 which will give her a big dmg boost

Yup, my mistake there. Addressed it in the pinned comment. Still, the biggest downfall of perna is the animation speed. Slightly outdamaged by narin/argen with high amount of debuffs. but when using solo or low amount of debuffs, perna will be amazing!

ty for this... to make things clear.. i know narin ha does better damage than perna but shes a collab so not everyone has her. Perna is a great sub for narin ha. Argen, dont even think of replacing him for perna u are clearly mistaken ( i saw a comment from someone else's video that theyre resetting argen for perna). The very advantage of argen > Narin ha is also the skill animation. Narin ha has slower skill animation than argen. about 50% slower. thats why in a damage race, argen will win.

so as far as i know for best burst damage mons.. heres my ranking Kamiya>Argen>NarinHa>Perna Heck maybe naomi can do as much damage as perna. granted naomi has lots of debuffs (which is usually the case with raids)

We won't know how much def but they definitely have it, since the damage increases the higher level your defense break is (you can see that per hit damage goes up on narin's triple hits)!

Note to everyone on the fence about wether or not to pull for Perna, just do it. Perna is god like in raids (and you need to do raids to upgrade your equipment). Perna is particularly useful in the hero raids. In Naraka or Kaliya for example, you would not take Narim Ha because you can use better units to make the boss easier, in Kaliya you would not use Narim Ha or Argen (because Kaliya reflects damage if you use units that deal damage based on harmfull effects and she also removes every harmful effect on her in the process).

Yeah, she is a definite pull, especially if you are looking into doing content solo or focusing a lot on pve. She will be #1 in seal which people will need to farm a lot for gear succession. Worthy investment :D

can u make comparisson to kamiya ? i pulled her in my summon sessions, not perfect build but soullinked and 15 k less power and doing more than my argen and narin which have 10-15 % cdmg more.. i pulled perna but only once, not sure if i go more for her, having narin argen and kamiya to select

I have kamiya, the best for pve so far (IMHO) even tho it needs 5 mana usage for her combo but still, she will bring you anywhere in the game 😁😁

I tested tesa vs argen/narin in an older video and he required more precise setup (lots of burn stacks) and still did a little bit lower damage - kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5y6n3Wvptlop9U . Overall, their damage will be similar, but perna requires less setup to do big damage, so would choose perna over tesa anyday now!

Don't have kamiya so i could never test her. If she is a mage, she should be better than narin technically, as long as they can use the def penetration artifact!

@@TheFarmito shes an archer, and her skill have +20% damage to boss. So I just add the subjugation artifact which is +10% damage to boss. Just curious which one is better among them (narin, perna & kamiya)

She is amazing as a solo raider, that is for sure. Damage test doesn't mean she will perform better in most cases, as narin/argen needs a lot of setup and once the debuffs wear off, perna will outshine them (which is the case for a lot of raids that have various damage caps/cleanse like naraka/marsh/farakel!

Argen does way more dmg in general then Narin HA cuz u dont have ata up all the time .... Hello ?! And Argen has build up Ata up ! Even when solo its easy to bring more then 3 debuffs..i would say 5 without trying ! Thuth is i care more for green one for pvp and probably ll skip red one for pve !

fire phoenix skill 2 takes too long to finish. argen/narinha able to unload 10 mana way faster. even when using fire vamp, fire phoenix eats the dust from argen/narinha
