Notice how you can't get any Fusions/Monster Coin heroes/monsters/units (whatever) from the 9 random summons. Rica (Fire Occult Girl) ToA continuous damage debuffer/stunner Brandia (Fire Polar Queen): Earth Rift Dungeon DPS hero as like Kro she has a skill that deals damage the more debuffs the enemy has Woosa (Water Pioneer): 3 Turn Immunity/Shield/Healer and can be used as a HP support in Khalderun Dimensional Hole as well as a raid support Ganymede (Earth Fairy King): ToA crowd control debuffer by setting attack bars to 0 and can even set skills back to max cooldown. He can even reset one ally skill cooldowns at a time.

Verad really is the best starter mon. I was really lucky to get him as my 2nd nat5 and he carried my first gb12, db12, fire rift, toa/toah, and I used him to get my first c1 and c2 finish in arena.

I would not say cp and sav are new players friendly. If they get outsped which is likely early on they done. I would replace with teshar and Charlotte. Rica and Charlotte do pair well tg. Also Charlotte gives amazing control. teshar would help speed up giants. Teshar also would help with lab and sds and provide good enough dmg.

I'd recommend building tricaru or the dot/Gina dot team instead. I never found the db12 teams with loren and belladeon as the only strips that reliable.

I got the team working on my fiance's account with a bunch of determination sets and like a level 13 defense Tower after about maybe 5 months 6 months. I find it significantly easier to go for crafting determination runes over making a more old-school db12 team I'm trying for guard sets. But there's probably room to debate on that

@marlon john someone I know got determination tricaru working in 2 weeks. I did guard tricaru, grinding db11 for guard runes, maxing def tower, getting gems and grinds from r2, 3 and 4. It's a high defense requirement sure, but manageable for arguably the greatest pve farming team in the game.

Honestly Oliver or Moore for late game rta. They'll probably be nerfed by the time beginners reach C1 in rta but theyre indispensable. I'm at the point when I see an Oliver vs my fire team, I would ban Oliver. Nerf him again. How do you justify him being one of the most picked units with a positive win rate in in all ranks of rta?

I'm hovering high silver 3* and have options for Cheongpung, Savannah, Alicia, Ren, Water Battle Angel and Shadow caster, Nana, and a dupe Mo Long, with one more to see yet. So far leaning CP since I don't have any AoE cooldowns increase, next pick is Savannah Exit: I already have a GB12 sub one min auto team with Sath Mellia x2 and Tatu, so don't need Savannah for that.

Verad is beast. I use spd, crit dmg, def%, and with water homu, they're really good at toa.

other nat5s are not good for new players especially if they dont know what they're doing unless its rica, charlotte or verad they just need skillups which you can get many early on and the runes that you get in the new user event will be helpful for these 3 other nat5s in my opinion will only shine on other content like rta or r5. i would choose rica mostly than charlotte or verad since rica can help you clear toan in just 2 days and toah in just like 4 to 5 days?. overall kinda great guide not the other nat5s tho since they are useless early game imo.

You can clear toan in the first week with only f2p units anyway, Rica shines more in toah. Toah in 4/5 days huh? New summoners way is wild... even I needed 2 weeks to beat it and I had Bellenus.

I would switch rica and verad,she has more dmg. Tiana and Leo are really PvP and early game is strictly about building, not competition. I would replace them with teshar and brandia for secret dungeon and rift. Early you need a lot of sd farming and easy dmg on rift beasts. IDK about laika and unfair bear. I like them. Definitely useful but again I think it's the pvp aspect that makes ppl like them more than the means to farm the runes for them. Mostly I do agree. Can't wait to get a Charlotte with good runes. Her turn cycling seems potentially as broken as tiana strip.

Poseidon and CP are game changers for most of the game. Leo was a game changer for Arena and the speed stages in labyrinth. Was never a fan of Verad, Rica or C******te since they are more replaceable. The other game changers that didn't make the list was Woosa. Savannah is one of those dream monsters that drives you nuts when you fight her but when you use her yourself it never works. Ganymede was also a game changer if you already had any of the other ones first.

Fire SE is decent wym. Built in stun on S3 no need for despair, Vio is a good choice.

Wouldn’t call it “beginner monsters” yeah rica is great but tbh I feel Nora is better. She not only heals a bit but every skill apples dots. Has 3 AOE skills and her 3skill even cause damage based on debuffs. Not to mention strips, provokes and stuns. Despair/revenge is best. No beginner should really be in RTA btw

A sampling of what I have seen recently, last 5 arena battles vio proc rate (def:offense): 16:2 with 3 times greater than 2 extra turns for them, next game had 13 extra turns in the first 2 rounds, 4th game Riley v Riley: 2:1... Now some of these i did win, and yep my vio proc rate greatly increased on the last person to finish with less than 50% health (whooooppppie doooo) How about addressing that issue, putting the proc rates into parity... or just admit that the game is setup to benefit the defense with a higher vio proc rate...

This is so funny. I havent been a fan of sea king and in fact, I've been pretty vocal. But Poseidon and any of the sea king variances to me have always seemed like a "no fair" unit since you're almost definitely guaranteed to lose against sea king and oracle in arena (As long as they're runed, accessorized, and enhanced all in the right way), or at least in my limited 6-7 yr history. Ever noticed how almost everyone in the Arena battle line-ups have one or the other or both? Well now I can't complain! After all these years, I have had the most unexplainable, unexpected barrage or 5⭐️'s. I'm talking 10-14 of them. Granted, I may have used around 1-2 thousand summons of various grades. Lol The reason I comment on this video is because almost EVERY SINGLE monster he/you mention is part of the group that I have gotten In the last month and a half. THEY BETTER WATCH OUT... I might just have to become a fan boy! 😆 🤣 😂 😹

Natural. Nat 5 means it's a 5 star monster when you first summon him. You need to distinguish nat 5, 4, 3, 2 from each other because you can evolve all monsters to 6 stars.

Idk Savannah is easily replaced by Kro and Roaq in the early game. Both of them being F2P and better at dungeons. Teshar is also the better unit for early gamers. Beast in pve and easier to rune.

Hey! Yeah, absolutely! Lapis is available through Summoning so you'll probably encounter her down the line. She's great to help level up your Monsters early, but she doesn't help much when it comes to Giants. So don't worry, you can find replacements in the meantime. (:

Quite a good list tbh, but Verad at no. 1 is a bit much imo. I would say Amber, water/fire striker, oracles, lightning emperors, wind slayer and monkey Kings are much better picks than Tyron's solo gaming brother. Actually, even Nora is better than Verad, and probably one of the best picks for new and old players alike.

@Morganna suppose so, but Tyron is a completely viable f2p substitute that works just as well. But I guess it can't be denied Verad works better in a team doing his thing alone and has damage too. That being said Tyrons used in toa hell but Verad isn't. And even with all that, Tiana is the thing to take if she pops up. Even if you get her as soon as you start the game, that account is a keep. Her s3 is undeniably amazing.
