I've had one for almost 2 years. It's everything I wanted and more. Fits my young family of 4 perfectly. And also when I'm alone I get to have some fun in sport plus mode. Great review 👏

5:52 also, it’s not possible to get a heated steering wheel option with the AMG sport steering wheel; confirmed with Mercedes. You either have to choose the standard wheel with the heating option, or the AMG wheel without it (they said with all of the additional components, custom dynamics knobs / buttons along the bottom, the flat bottom part of the steering wheel, it wasn’t possible for them to efficiently add the heating element inside that type of steering wheel.

The GLB 35 was the perfect mix of comfort and real sports car driving... But I'm going to need them to add a heated steering wheel on the next one!

4:31 I have a 2021 GLB35 AMG, and it has auto / power trunk open and close; not only that, but it has the foot-kick swipe feature under the center of the rear future. So it’s definitely a feature, and a common feature on all 250 and 35 models I’ve seen. So it’s weird yours didn’t come equipped with one.

Just got into a Certified 2023 model with very low mileage 3 weeks ago, and loving it so far! One question, and I was hoping to hear something about this in the video. When you're coasting for a second or two let's say, one of the gauge setting modes activates and shows a charging feature. What is it charging? Is there a hybrid battery that is not being advertised? My sales rep mentioned it but couldn't elaborate on the feature. Any thoughts?
@PRNTestDrive4 ай бұрын
Is it an AMG 35? The 250 models do have a mild-hybrid system, but these non MHEV vehicles would show that the main starter battery is being charged.
@PratyushPandya4 ай бұрын
@@PRNTestDrive it is an AMG 35, yes. Sure seems like a mild-hybrid system of some sort, but wanted to see if someone could confirm it

Nice thorough review. It looks small is it small or does it have to be seen in person to appreciate its size?
@PRNTestDrive Жыл бұрын
MB did a good job making the interior as spacious as possible, as a big guy when I drove this a couple years back I didn't have any issues with comfort. I'd definitely consider checking one out in person!

how is the traction without the snow tires?
@PRNTestDrive Жыл бұрын
Mercedes has an excellent AWD system, but winter tires are recommended if you live anywhere that gets snow or colder than 7ºC. I always reinforce that AWD only helps with acceleration, and not with stopping when accidents happen. Only a good set of winter tires can keep you out of the ditch or out of the back of someone else's car during a storm.

No one’s driving their old cars that are worth filming during the winter.

Here we are over a year after this comment and we're still not getting people to give us their cars. When we do get the chance, like the CLS 63 AMG we did last year we didn't get a lot of views on it.

Awesome car. The price difference to Europe is unreal. Would be easily be 70-80k€ here…. A car built in Germany is more expensive here in Europe than in the countries it´s exported to wtf

I'm surprised by that! I always figured these models would have been much more cost effective in their domestic countries. I just popped onto the M-B.de configurator and sure enough i was up into the 74,000€ range. Crazy!

That sucks! Why tf would Mercedes not have automatic trunks in every car ? This just made me wanna rethink the GLB 35 honestly I don’t have time to be opening and shutting a damn trunk! I’ve had 2 Benz’s and even my 2014 had a damn button smh
@PRNTestDrive Жыл бұрын
Price, essentially. I always joke that the luxury brands make you pay for everything, including having seats and a steering wheel. This is a prime example, however I think even the GLB we did before didn't have it, I don't think they even offer it if you pay for it. Chances are it'll be added in a year or two so buyers who have older models will have a reason to trade-in for a new one.

The GLB is a great little SUV, I don't see them as often out here as I did back in Quebec, but I enjoyed my time with this one when I had it. I don't see anything about either feature on the press release for the 2024 model year changes for Canada at least.

you know I love my Mercedes ,but it really makes me mad when im with one of my friends and they driving a ford and have everything from heated everything , remote start , new technology . and paying half of what im paying and in order to have what ford offer I would have to pay another 50k with Mercedes for a Glb 35 smdh
@PRNTestDrive Жыл бұрын
That's where the luxury brands make their money, you're paying for the badge on the front of the car along with the engineering that goes along with it, but they've always made you pay for every feature. It's one of the reasons we did a wildly popular comparison a while ago on a BMW X3 versus Mazda CX-5, for the same money you get a fully loaded Mazda but not much on the BMW side.
