I have Always loved Italian American crooners...the best.Perry's and Dino's fathers were Born in Abruzzo,a region situated on central Italy.They moved to the United States at the beginning of 900.looking for a brighter Destiny.I am a language teacher and I live in this singing Land...Abruzzo.Greetings from Italy,the Land of melody

You heard Mr. P.C. better than me, Mr. Graham; at first, I believe Dean Martin asked, "What is this; production?!" And, at first, heard "Mr. 'C's" response as, "No. Prediction." After having noticed and reading your comment as to what you heard, Mr. Graham; and, then, re-listening to the dialogue exchanged from 5:00 to 5:08 between Sirs "P.C'." & "D.M.," it seems neither of us heard correctly. . .However, I will freely and gladly straighten out this simple confusion, as their honest dialogue exchange makes real common sense: Dean "Dino" Martin: ( As Male "Barbershop" turn-of-the-20th century-style quartet enters behind the three, singing "Moonshine Lullaby" ) What is this; production!? Perry "Mr. C." Como: ( plainly serious & honestly serious ) No; protection!!

Perry and Dean seemed to have a genuine freindship for each other having been born and raised not far from each other with similar backgrounds. Dean appeared on Perry's shows several times but strange Perry never guested on The Dean Martin Show which premiered later in 1965

@@imeldaancheta4553 You are right; it's just you. If you don't agree with comparisons, then why are voicing your thoughts to mine? That's a comparison! Where (or even why) you are coming up with "apples and oranges" is beyond me. The video has two male singers. Both with quality voices. As much as I enjoy Dean Martin's voice, I prefer Perry Como's, even though I have CD's of Dean Martin, but not one of Perry Como's. Go figure! You just simply have a contentious nature and you succumb to that which you said you despise. Comparison.

Pretty funny. Dean Martin said "That's the coco talking now." What does that mean?
@noluntas2 жыл бұрын
Cocaine I guess lol. Dean was wild
@richardmohr94282 жыл бұрын
@@noluntas Think so? Back then that wasn't so common, was it? Or was it? I don't remember it being referred to as "coco" but I knew nothing about dope back them. I know that Dean liked (or liked to appear that he liked) to drink. If booze was legal, why risk legal problems with cocaine? Or maybe he was several steps beyond the source of the cocaine? Not that it matters much now.

Is it strange for a total stranger, as myself, to feel somewhat saddened in knowing a father would forget the name of the oldest of his sons, whilst televised in total awareness of Mrs. Lawrence, Dean, and "Mr. C"
@donaldperez79813 жыл бұрын
@@ebvest30 I Knew of Craig. I've only seen him in a few family photos. & only 2 w/ his dad. He worked behind the scenes on the D.M. Show. You would never hear of him,but every now and then, you would hear about the other 6. I always wondered, if he is he still alive? A few days ago my question was answered.Deana Martin (Dean's daughter)has a weekly show on KZbin. What you do is, type (Deana Martin live #76 KZbin) and on this particular show,#76,@around 21:47 she mentions at her brother Craig sent her a birthday card.
