Guys a hero. Saved a woman getting raped and got shot twice in the process, thus getting hooked on drugs. WWE should of intervened and supported him after such an heroic act. It's sad too, a pure amazing act had a negative chain affect of the above. Watched an interview not long ago, big guy now, healthy and amazing beard. Also note he has parkinsons, the CTE meds can make him jittery, he is off drugs, married and content.

It was VERY VERY heroic BUT why should WWE intervened? He WAS an employee and during his time as an employee he got paid handsomely! WWE owe him nothing and vice versa! It’s Sad what happened BUT too many people wanna be saying all the time when something bad happens that WWE should help just because at one stage they worked for the company!

He was hooked on drugs a decade before he was shot, don’t make excuses for him. It’s a shame what happened but he’s admitted that in wwf he turned down the offer of rehab from Heyman on behalf of Vince McMahon

I'd have literally zero idea who this was without the title. I watched him in WCW and WWF, still though wouldn't have recognised him.

Man just a side note me and my friends used to put every submission we saw on tv on each other till we tapped out. And to me by far the most painful was the rings of saturn. Holy shit the pain was instant and made you feel like you were dying and you couldnt resist it all. Always respected him just for having such a deadly finishing submission. I never let anyone put me in that shit again cause really could break your back and shoulders quick. The second worst was the lion tamer 3rd was the stf. The figure 4 hurt but you could resist it for a long while before it overwhelms you ✌️

I feel as though WWF Attitude Era should’ve been a little better especially in 2001 during the Invasion Period if only the top guys from WCW and ECW were involved and WCW and ECW were separate individually attacking each other Perry Saturn should’ve had some good title reigns in WWF or having decent reigns and matches with guys like Lance Storm and Eddie Guerrero and British Bulldog and D’Lo Brown and William Regal then I believe his career would be a lot different
