I absolutely love it when the ambient keyboard melody returns at 14:20

This is a technical metal epic right here. Respect to the band for this. I love bands that go beyond just standard genre metal.

It's really interesting how polarized the reception of this album has been. As I waited for my pre-order to come in, I read a bunch of reviews, and either it was called a masterpiece, or it was their worst album to date. Upon first listen, when I could download my digital copy, it really didn't take long for me to realize I was going to love this album. I think the people who tore this thing apart have forgotten that no band, especially of the progressive variety, is going to release the same album twice. This is still, by sound and feeling, a Persefone album, but I'm glad that it isn't Spiritual Migration v. 2.0. Just my humble opinion. 8.5/10

[I. Universal Oneness] Inner landscapes Feels like a light within my mind This place knows no fear The anger feels so far away from me Tears of joy as I can feel That every part of me is connected with the source I feel at home I feel, I found myself for once complete Free to breathe! Inner light crushing all I thought I ever knew I'm moved by a quiet and everlasting shake of feels I throw my hands to the sky And with them the will to be part of this new reality My being at last is free Part of everything! I'm no longer meant to feel lost I breathe I extend my wings And I fly over this new realm! I feel my inner self pulsing through my veins My core vibrates and shakes my soul Witness of the timeless dance of life and death I feel overwhelmed I'm floating in this side… Feeling aware of my own breath Awakening of consciousness Evolution… I take the chance to rise my being The truth beyond my mind One is many as many are one With all linked Rooted to the same source of light [II. Spiritual Bliss] "You are not the body or the senses, the mind or the intelligence, the name or the form. You are the Aathma itself." All I can see Comforts my being No more fear As I let the light in [III. One With The Light] This new me can't be defined This new me can't be described Movement of the mind Fire in my chest My hands become my eyes My body heals As I connect myself with all that ever was This painful transformation I survived to my own lies Effortless, I leave behind the mourn And walk away from the singularity I once believed Now I can see I feel I crossed the line My heart vibrates with all My soul is not contained within the limits of my body Instead, my body is contained within the no limits of my soul [IV. …Many Of One] I'm not this body Nor this realm of senses I am not this face These eyes, these hands I'm a living wave, calmed I'm within this light I've let go of the burden I let go I am just this soul…

Jester Head Did you know lyrics on this part come from a speech by Jim Carrey ? It's amazing how Moe turned it into one of the most powerful part of the album.

The titles... the lyrics... they are so inspiring on their own, and the epic sound of the music just adds to that... welp, I now have my new favorite album (after listening to just the first song btw xD), Spiritual Migration right behind it. :D

Is it about a kid with a lisp and a breathing problem? Song- I was going to give up early, I am glad I listened all the way through. Original, and enjoyable to listen to. Some great harmonies. I'd prefer they just stick to cleans
@z1DEv_ag7 жыл бұрын
Funny comment man, agree about the cleans, needs a better balance. Growls can weary with music requiring such concentration to appreciate. Well, for me at least. Stoked I found this band though. Loving youtube as a lapsed 90's death head.

Metal comes in many different ways, to say that they should have less growling vocals totally tarnishes their style
