@@octopusph.d7737 Let me tell you, it's by far the best valued game for the amount of content it has. The design is stunning and the game-play is unlike any other. The music, story, and design is probably the G.O.A.T. for video games. It took me around 100 hours to fully complete it, and I found myself playing in chunks because there was so much to do. basically I love this game. If you haven't played the game yet, please, do it. Even if turn based RPGs aren't your thing, definitely give it a shot. Just a heads up, the Persona 5 R version is coming out in 2020, which is supposed to be a complete overhaul of the entire game.

This is a pretty nice cover, but I have a few criticisms regarding the composition. As a more traditional jazz rendition of an acid jazz song with heavy string usage, you obviously have to go for a somewhat different tone than the source material. It seems that you acknowledged this, but I think the composition tries to compromise too much on still holding onto the structure of the source material. It ends up sounding a little awkward as it almost feels like two conflicting tones trying to harmonize with each other, without fully committing to one or the other. I think going full-on for a more relaxed, lounge-like vibe would've been more beneficial, and would have complimented the singer a bit more. Just my two cents. Still impressive stuff.

Totally see what you're saying here! The main reason I held on to the structure of the source material was to keep the structure of the verse and chorus intact in the vocal part. In retrospect, I probably would have arranged this slightly differently, but it'll never be perfect! Thanks for your comment :)

I can definitely understand why you'd want to keep the vocal structure intact, as otherwise, you'd probably have to build something entirely from scratch, which could be problematic and might end up sounding too different from the original song. Definitely not knocking on what you're doing here though. I've seen your other covers, and you do amazing work. Your "Road Taken" rendition is absolutely beautiful, and the fact that you're giving Persona 5 more KZbin coverage with a kickass jazz track is great in and of itself. This is a great arrangement of a great song. I just think the vocals didn't work that great with it and I was hungry for that sick bass line but it didn't really happen. Still awesome job though
