Say anything you want, but seriously there is no person in the entertainment industry more pure and real and loving and kind and all the good things as Flea is. This is a standout human being even if you didn’t take his musical contributions into consideration!

I've read Flea's book and, to put it mildly, it's fantastic! Really. I've never read a book like it and I'm so glad he didn't go down the rock star memoir route. He's one of those people that I'd invite to my 'dream dinner party', such an inspiring individual. I wish him well for whatever he does in his life.

It's interesting to hear what he said about his Mother. I'm going through a "Bad Patch" with mine now. I think our relationship was actually better when I was younger, Now I'm older I'm more aware of her faults and I'm more likely to tell her if I don't like something or I'm unwilling to tolerate it.

Simmer down ,Karen he isnt a CNN talking head this was an intimate interview i can tell Dan is a fan and is prolly abit overwhelmed having this legend sit across from him ...I'd likely not be able to speak if Flea was 3 ft from me . This interview was great only a small mind would bicker n nitpick and search for a flaw ,therein. ( I hope I phrased this right lol ❤ So cringe to listen to petty nitpicking regarding content of this magnitude,and importance

Patricia, I want to tell you a story, When I was a child, I had a grandad, He was in the Army and fought in the second world war. It was (and is) very common for Soldiers to get Tattoos and he was no exception. By the time I knew him, He had left the army and ALL his Tattoos had faded, so much so that it was virtually impossible to tell what they were supposed to be. I suppose what I'm trying to say is that what might look like a Chili Pepper today, could more closely resemble a Willy tomorrow. Food for thought, I think you'll agree? 😂

Flea talks about love and unity and all sorts of things but yet him and Anthony fired Josh just to take the abusive husband back ( John ) . Don't get me wrong I love John but he has quit twice on them. I guess his ego got the best of him and he couldn't believe the band continue to be successful without him.
@freebird19754 жыл бұрын
They were successful without John because people were still hooked on material John created. As good as Josh is, he could never elevate his creativity to the level needed to even come close to what John did for the band. Do you have the impression the rhcp where as successful in the past 10 years as they were in the 10 years prior? People were going nuts when they played old songs during their shows but didn't really respond too well to new material. I don't think there's anybody out there who could really replace John. I believe Josh always knew that he was not going to be part of the band forever, I think he knew John was eventually going to come back and he knew that Flea, Anthony and Chad would always choose John before Josh. Calling John the abusive husband is way out of line btw. John did what he thought was best for him and the band by leaving but making sure that the band had a good replacement (let's not forget that John was the one who gave Josh the opportunity in the first place) , now he's back with his family.
