Sir my retirement asset allocation spread is Equity 22% and Debt 78% . I want to achieve 50-50. Equity is very less due to recent start in MF. To achieve 50-50 asset allocation, shall i put money in ELSS to cover up instead of PPF? I have 75K to be planned for 80C this year. i could not conclude on this, since u wont suggest ELSS normally when there is a option open to invest in PPF. Guidance please.

@@snsramkumar If your TOTAL annual investment is much more than 1.5L then you can use EPF/PPF for 80C and rest in normal equity fund or stocks. If not, then you will need ELSS
