Great work, again. That last clip is priceless. JP is clearly trying to impose his abstract view on gender roles with a heavy salvo of Se nuggets gleaned from generalized reflection, not actual experience, as might be suggested by his career as a clinical psychologist and academic researcher where he is unlikely to be involved in an aggregated 9-5 workplace. The interviewer (ENFP? let's assume ENFP for the following...) is having none of it. Amused, flabbergasted by these assertions, more so the narrowness, the singularity of the view JP is presenting, he must be imagining all of the other possibilities for why these workplace-gender nuances exist. JP presents a fact. Kang then sees a spectrum of possibilities for why that fact exists, which JP then tries to narrow down with another fact. But that new fact presents a new array of possibilities for Kang, further amplifying his resistance to JP’s thematic presentation. It seems to me a classic Hero-Oppositional duel, with Kang providing a seemingly obvious objective meaning for each of the facts JP presents. But such as the duel goes, the Ne refuses to be bound by the archetypical themes, instead paying attention to the variations, while the Ni attempts to bind all the variations into a single archetypical theme, interpreting each variation in light of that theme.

Intuition is present in all of us but it grows stronger as we begin to “Know Thyself” thru introspection or meditation and introverts spend more time alone thus more time contemplating who they are-and in doing so they connect to the I Am(aka you are One with the Creator/Source) and when you dive deeper you can expose the Shadow/Ego and all the personality programming within and in doing so you free yourself of the carnal mind/lower self (that negative voice in your head that constantly tries to keep you in an identity box) and you can just be in the Now and once you free yourself of the control of the carnal mind/Ego you resonate in the frequency of Love-which is our natural state. You feel connected to all things and all people. You feel a True Love for all things and when your frequency is that of a higher vibration (aka the Heart Chakra) your magnetic field (aura) thru the Law of Attraction will pull towards you similar frequencies-your world will change. In this higher state of Consciousness you do not need to find external love to raise your frequency: it is already raised. However, if you do find Love that is wonderful but not required to feel Love. As for the make up comment: if you think red lips will make you want to sexually harass someone that is your carnal mind/root chakra energy. You need to raise your frequency above this lower level thru Meditation. TheBible is actually esoteric allegories on Meditation. Again: Know Thyself…know you are a being of light/energy having a temporary experience in a body that is part of the quantum field.

Weird example of an INTP 🤠 I did door to door sales for years and picked up women. I am considered "the friend who got layed alot" in many circles who know me and am considered "the sales friend." But I 100% prefer to be alone watching videos like this and learning shit. I still get awkward with women and in sales and still manage to close deals damn near on accident 24/7. Have many a time "got my dream girl" and am currently with a woman I thought was the shx since I was 16. Jordan Peterson said something like anything outside of the realm of your Big 5 is just you having wisdom. The weight of being extroverted and realizing how many of my abstractions were just IQ mixed in with compensations made me regret my entire life not actively treating extroversion like a Sport. Now my goal is to go to dance classes with my girlfriend and continue to run ads, close deals, run businesses, and study persuasion at the highest degrees possible. However....introverts? Trust me when I say you need to BLINDLY take 90% action and learn how to shut your brain off. It will feel like a sin to ignore your over thinking mind and DOUBLE DOWN my boiiiiiii on just touching. fking. grass. but I assure you my friend - touch grass 10X as much as you theorize what grass is made out of. Am I alone in feeling like I dont want to be trapped in the category of one type? Ive taken the 16personalities test a few times over the years, and i think i got INFP twice and Adventurer/Protagonist the other two times. Its also kind of hard to give the truest (for me) answer, as I feel like I'd have to be put in the situation the questions are asking about to decide.

@@Joyboy0101 not alone I'm sure mostly other INFPs feel that way. Every INFP I've ever mad has a fear of being understandable or categorizable. Universals and archetypes are Nx if it’s external wich is what JP is doing with reading books about historical figures it’s Ne. In fact mathematically the type most archetypically driven is Entp. Ne and Fe are optimistic and they are the most concern with archetypes figures across people and history. But it is still fair to type JP Infj, lead Nx, Fe and Ti (wich most people can’t even see), strong Ti. I just see lead Perceiver, Ne and demon Si more clearly, it will just explain more, that’s how I see typing. Ni is just a crazy man with a vision that he can’t even describe in most case, Ne are intellectuals that push free speech and openness.

I agree with the last clip wholeheartedly. Makeup is literally used to elicit attraction by females from males. They can say “it’s for me” all they want, but if they fall under a certain ratio of compliments to criticisms you can guarantee they’re gonna change that make up at some point. Are women more attractive with makeup? Obviously. What use for the company does it have for the men to be more aroused than they would be on average or am I hitting the nail on the head for the allowance of make up in the workplace? Maybe men work harder when there are more attractive women around that seems plausible but if the specific debate is of a sexual harassment kind of nature in the workplace then it doesn’t take a lot of thinking power to understand why it happens and that make up would definitely be a contributing factor.

People are not looking at this properly. JP has a Ti-Si loop and is likely intuitive. Si duty can look like Ni desires. The fact is, he has absolutely zero Se at all and is using Ne often. The dumbest thing people do is act like the 3rd and 4th functions are weak enough to be almost absent. The hero is on an axis with the inferior as is parent with child so they both are yin and yang to each other, not opposite sides of the coin. JP has deep shadow level Se, not inferior level. Not seeing much Ni that can't be explained as Ne through Ti + Si. Definitely cognitively introverted. He's either an INTP or an ISFJ and with his abstractions

No. This is incorrect. You can have immature as well as mature introverted intuitives. This aspect of your personality is really not going to change over the course of your life. i.e. young immature IN's will lack experience, mature experienced IN's will of course be experienced. The difference being that their intuition will be grounded and have a very high likelihood of predicting the real world given an extremely small amount of data relative to say an IS or ES who will need to be given every detail to understand such as what I am giving you right now. The Introverted Intuitive will still be an IN though and not something else. There are however multiple types of Introverted Intuitives. Some will be morally oriented and some will be aesthetically oriented with most somewhere in the middle. Then you can mature other aspects of your personality while still remaining an Introverted Intuitive, but Myers Briggs cannot track that very well. It's pretty blind to that. For that, you need either The Big Five test and/or the Enneagram both of which are far more accurate, but less useful in social conversations to describe a personality. Even a subtle change in other aspects can have large changes apparent in the person while still maintaining the same core personality. Even if you are only referencing MB though, IN is only part of the overall picture they can be INFP, INFJ, INTP, or INTJ (myself). All of which radically change who we are dealing with and with a universe of difference inside each one.
@ina58603 ай бұрын
Great take!! This video didn’t sit well with me for many reasons particularly because of the fact that Jung has been quoted to say that “truer” expressions of IN types wouldn’t be stupid enough to express underdeveloped abstract ideas to a multitude of varying degrees of consciousness because they are intuitive enough to know how it would be received and the two examples given here (JP and AYN RAND THE RACE REALIST) are both overly confident in ideas that are both not totally translatable to grounded reality but there’s also no sense of a creature-feeling. They both lack the kind of empathy that can be measured using metrics like the IRI scale and i’d argue high correlation between higher levels of empathy + meaningful information processing and intuition. This is one of my main issues with MBTI diehards.

Hmmm. He might demonstrate Te, but he's not an Ni dom, IMO, because he see objects as objectives, which doesnt jive with introverted intuitives. The objective, personally, for these types would be what was once called, Nirvana, free of want/need. Introverted doms are far more concerned with "life as me", and intuitive doma appear to "cut to the chaae" and find the IDEA that completes the objective... making it essential to identify patterns for outcomes... and I mean generally, without even any particular outcome being relevant. It's really Introverted feeling and Se that help us clarify how/when to apply any particular route to that goal. I think this is why INTJs are really good at helping people troubleshoot... its like we are naturally empathic, but more as a "by product" of accumulation of various perspectives, and wanting to be as efficient as possible. Hence we aren't really good at objects themselves, only as "forms of" the real object. Probably why Socrates (according to Plato) definitely fitting an INTJ. The unintentional offended with rock solid "feelings", personally held virtues, that compelled him to "do too much", once he got on his pursuit/journey... everything else he examined (and likely understood better than he would ever confess) was incidental to that pursuit... Introverted intuitive in a nutshell
@Vahe3455 ай бұрын
I don't know for sure here but it seems like maybe the clips were selected in a way to support the theory of him being an introverted intuitive. The last scene especially. It just makes sense what he is saying. Sure he is talking about sexuality in the work place if men and women can work together without sexual harrassment. He isn't supporting the commonly held view now adays so that speaks against extroverted sensation being expressed, which may happen when he has his emotions high/acting more unconscious(if he was an introverted intuitive.) It does say he is an introvert and it seems like more of an extroverted archaic feeling being expressed unconsciously and that would be as a result of his ego consciousness siding with introverted thinking. You know it's hard to judge so easily. It feels like you got to know the person in a very intimate way and/or really observe them. How he talks about sexuality could also be the effect of his relation to his mother, the mother complex, other complexes or inferiorities that come from childhood but are still present. I doubt he has done analysis himself. He seems too prideful for that, besides he took anti anxiety or depression drugs, that is not very Jungian. He seems to me like he has been hurt in the past and defensiveness may be only increasing his shadow. His reactions to people calling him names and stuff in the past, like someone calling him a N-A.Z*I was very telling. It struck a real nerve. It wasn't "right" and it caused severe emotion. It also matters what type of auxillary functions he has and how developed his other functions are. It is unlikely such a successful and experienced person is a more or less pure type. I didn't think about this serious like you did for very long but i'd say he is introverted thinking with a good deal of intuitive. Just my opinion.

However I agree on the point of free will in that one can change and should change. What I believe is that those who truly don't deserve love are those who when given an opportunity, choose to blow it instead. It should be game over for them and God does this too as it says that no more sacrifice is left for such. In short, everybody deserves a chance but when squandered, game over!

Peterson has been talking about status forever. He clearly values it above all else. This is a personal reasoning of his. He imagines without wealth, status and the lack of recognition, he too, would feel like shooting up a place, just like when he felt like nothing. But just like the boy who did it, Peterson is ill, and no amount of acclaim can correct the self-loathing that accompanies mental illnesses.
@jamjox99226 ай бұрын
He definitely has an obsession with hierarchies. None of his arguments exist without that basis, and anything outside of that, he fumbles to speak about until he can bring back the conversation to what he sees as "true." A big part of the problem is his thinking has become more rigid and inflexible. He puts so much belief into his "truths" and that's the problem, it starts to feel like a religion to him rather than a scientific exploration. Science is proven and reproven, and a lot of his claims cannot be fully proven, they are just guesses. He wants to make them into scientific theories; scientific theories are basically true and proven with enough evidence to back it up, while Petersons claims have some truth to them, they are not anywhere close to scientifically true, they're on the edge of truth.

@Miss_PANDAS3 ай бұрын
@@Kal-EL_Volta Well, I think he puts his own slant on things. He says high -status people have increased positive emotion and thus, better quality of life than the lower classes. But the literature actually states it is the feeling of control that confers these benefits, and if middle class people feel the same level of control over their work and lifestyle, there is no difference in the level of positive emotion one feels or quality of life. Peterson is obsessed with IQ and social validation, which is why he would never mention this finding.

INTJs are definitely soft, but it's rarely seen from the outside. JP is not a thinker, I'm an INFJ (5w4) and can be mistaken for a T because of a strong Ni Ti loop and the constant urge to "play" (intellectually) which is Ti child.

Why is Jordan so politically naive? That makes me question his INFJ typing.
@Kings_Crossing6 ай бұрын
I don't think he is politically naive at all, quite the opposite. Though I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that, but I'm assuming because of his opposing to a few key "woke" ideology tenets. Then I would say, isn't a defining feature of Introverted Intuition the ability to recognize the ripple effect and the long term consequense of things? Drawing from patterns to intuitively see where the road ends so to speak? That's why I think he is so outspoken about a few of these relatively recent inventions being pushed in mainstream woke politics.
@Coneman36 ай бұрын
I don’t see his political naivety due to him opposing ‘woke’. Often I agree with him on this. No, it’s things like him not thinking inequality is an issue deserving serious attention; I’ve heard him do what many on the right do; extend the time interval between compared dates to say ‘there’s less poverty in the west than in Victorian times’ for eg. What this does is ignores much more recent but significant erosion of working people’s employment conditions. It allows a deliberate blindness, to serve a right wing and conservative political position. I find it hard to see an INFJ show such disregard for relevant facts, especially regarding the important subject of inequality and poverty. Some have suggested INTP for him, but I’m not sure.
@Kings_Crossing6 ай бұрын
@@Coneman3 I think the answer to why he does that is that an INFJ is generally close to their emotions, and have a great deal of empathy. And for Jordan that empathy can almost be applied to western society as a whole, in my opinion. And he'll defend the west because that, despite it's flaws, it's still better now than in the victorian times. He just wants you to "get that in your head", You see what I mean? For example Jordan will often romaticize and get emotional about topics like despair in young invisible men, despite there surely being a portion of those men that aren't good people, the majority is. I think that him glossing over facts to paint a picture that aligns with whatever point he is trying to make, as a punchline, is perfectly in line with INTJ. Probably not done intentionally all the time, say it's in the middle of an interview that's rather accusatory which isn't uncommon. Then the feeling aspect will come into play while making claims like that.

I'd rather say INFJ or INTJ probably. He doesn't look naturally extroverted, I suppose he trained and practiced to unlock and master extroverted communication. In his book "12 rules for life" he wrote that he has always hated noisy parties with too much crowd since he was a kid, prefering a small number of people to have structured discussions. There's no more "introvert" statement, I swear.
