@@DebisDesignDiary you could always use wooden dowels and make them look like paint brushes.. More sturdy..

@@DebisDesignDiary what if you used a dab of construction adhesive in the holes to keep them in place? I understand that you may want to move them later, but it could be scraped off/out down the road. Or, you (or your dad) could even just cut off the tip of the brushes flush with the wall if you change your mind later on. And to go with the idea of gluing them in place, so that you could easily slide your transfer packages onto the brushes for display, just mix up some clear resin and dip the brush ends, then use (gloved!) fingers to squeeze out the excess and mold them into shape. Just my two cents, but I think it could work. I love the ornaments, by the way. I always enjoy seeing the projects and color combinations you come up with. 😊

Beautiful Debi! ❤ I wondered how the letters would look in the cute frames, I had that idea also! 🙂 Debi, I have the answer for you re the clay + letter moulds...Smoosh the clay in the mould & freeze it IN the mould. An hour or so is all you need. You can de-mould while frozen. They are firm enough to release in tact! Like magic! 😍

I actually just bought some Styrofoam balls at the dollar store and have made three ornaments so far. I'm covering them with the seashell molds from IOD. I haven't painted them yet. They're still drying.

On the molds that I can't seem to get out without ruinning them. I spray with some kind of cooking spray, whiping out the access before putting the clay in & it works on tiny intricate places in the molds, without breaking them. Use the cooking spray like you are greezing your baking pan! And your cookies, Opps I meant clay molds will come out perfect. Just don't bake them! Lol
