Perspective: The Lens That Determines Your Worldview | Jason Caroll | TEDxYouth@ASK

Using the example of a narrow portrait versus a wide landscape shot of Prague, this talk emphasizes the importance of zooming out to gain a fuller picture. From a small town in Texas to travels around the world, the journey highlights how curiosity, asking questions, and challenging assumptions can lead to a richer, more empathetic perspective. By broadening our views, we can appreciate the whole picture while still valuing the details within it. Jason is a life-long learner and passionate educator from Houston, Texas (U.S.) He earned is undergraduate degree in Psychology before taking on the role of intervention specialist in local schools. He is currently in his 3rd year of teaching High School English and also has served many years teaching students in community and religious programs. He is passionate about leadership and community and has recently moved to Kuwait to join his family and teach at ASK!
